Cold Stainless - my Gp and 226
I have a obsession with guns that are stainless steel. I love the coldness of it (shows in my sterile picture). I like stainless paired with black or wood. I used to have wood grips on my Sig, but they kind of got in the way of functionality, so I sold the grips (Hogue Pau Ferro, FYI). My stainless streak will probably be broken once I get my first polymer (Glock or SP2022). Here is a pic I thought I'd share, nothing special ofcourse (I've seen some beautiful pictures up in this forum, just can't compete).

Thanks guys. Its definitely time for me to get a polymer into the mix.
One thing I'm contemplating to add are new grips for my P226. I always thought the factory grips for these Sigs were probably the aesthetically weakest part of the guns. I've had wood grips before from Hogue, but they messed with the magazine locking into place and made it difficult to interact with the slide stop.. so I sold them. These are the new ones I'm looking at. Too bad they're $140. |

Aluminum could be very hot (or cold) if you are wearing them all day. You'll feel it when you grab for your gun. If that is not the concern, I do like the clean look of the aluminum. |

Oh, def not thread jacking at all. I'm glad you put in your opinion. This morning.. I just got directed to the G10 as well. So now that has piqued my interest. From what it seems.. aesthetically the aluminum looks better (atleast my opinion)... but the G10s are more functional. How much do G10s run around?

The biggest thing I noticed on these.. the divot around the slide stop/catch is more refined. Looks like its an improvement over the factory grips and def better than the last wooden hogue grips I got. Looks like I'mma be $140 or so bucks poorer very soon.

Sounds good. Probably instead of getting either an SP2022 or a Glock next.. I'll get a set of these grips and a Saiga instead... cost comes out to about the same. Thanks for the info!
