Default Steel ammo

Why is all these indoor ranges so restricted with steel ammo. It can't possibly be able to start a fire shooting paper targets. Also with alluminum.

Depends on the range. Ontarget does not seem to care. Others do.

Mostly because the ranges reload the cartridges ,where steel case is not reloadable.

Money grab, laziness and greed. There is a magical device known as a magnet to sort brass with. Also some steel case ammo does not have a bullet with steel in core or jacket.

I'd respect if they just said the truth and not hide behind safety issues or fire hazard lies. I have been to ranges and ran an indoor range that for years allowed steel jacketed ammo and amazingly the ranges never burned down or melted or anything.
