Default San Diego Ranges That Allow Rifles?

I'm considering buying a CZ 455 rifle in .22LR for use in the woods in Northern California. I'd like to be able to practice with it here where I live in San Diego. Can anyone tell me if there are indoor ranges in San Diego that allow .22 rifles?

All of them do in southern SD. Haven't been to the ranges in Oceanside or Poway but I would assume they would because it wouldn't make sense to allow a .44mag but not allow a .22rifle

The few that have restrictions, will still allow rifles chambered for pistol cartridges. You should be fine anywhere with a .22

Yes Iron sights in oceanside allows 22 LR Most ranges have rifle restrictions but they only apply to "Rifle" calibers. Iron sight you can shoot upto 30-06 and I take my 8mm mauser and 308 Winchester in there all the time American shooting center I have shot 308 as well

Project 2000 in El Cajon is worth the drive. They have 25/50 & 100 yard indoor. You will have to sight in at 25 yards & keep proof targets. Excellent staff, great place. I'm 5 mins from discount morena, usually go to P2K.

If your gonna go as far as P2K, just head out a little further to South Bay rod and gun club. They have 2 outdoor pistol ranges, and a nice 50/100/200/300 yard rifle range.

If you want some range, try Pala with it's 890 yard limits. They have a bunch of .22 metal targets you can set up to knock down.

SBRGC is my 100% go-to place. However, if I just want to shoot pistols and my pistol-caliber carbines, I go to DGM in Santee (who does not allow any non-pistol-caliber rifles).

American Shooting Center allows up to 30/06 but no steel ammo. I've shot my Mosins there with Yugo...

I know the South Bay Rod and Gun club allows them, but that is an outdoor range. (although they have shade on most of the shooting areas)

P2K is a favorite. Any BLM land you can find is great as well.

Although if you're going for a .22 shouldn't most pistol ranges let you in? Most of the ones I'm familiar with engage a "pistol caliber" rule. They let my grandfather in with his .44 mag carbine and they've cleared me on my jailed .45 long colt Rossi. Can't imagine a .22 would cause any troubles.
