Hey folks. We have 13 spots left on the GB. If the spots are not filled by Friday, I will close it out "as-is" and will fulfill those requested orders. Everything should go out by next Monday if the target orders are paid on time.

Thanks again! I think this went well for my first GB on this forum!

Regards,

TTM

Folks,

Thanks for all the interest in my first group buy here on this forum. Instead of sending you all a paypal invoice, I had my guy create a quick item on my website (which is a work in progress and FAR from completed) and is set up to give you the discount(s) in regard to the quantity you select. Once you select the quantity you would like, it will factor in tax. However, keep in mind the tax will be removed on the next page during your checkout since you are not residents of AZ.

I anticipate having all the targets out by Monday. I have most of them cut and will cut the remaining this weekend. I'm certain you guys will like them, and can assure you that you cannot beat the quality for this price.

Here is the link . There is no other way to purchase this item, meaning it is exclusive to Calguns members.

It is set up to allow you to buy however many targets you would like. However, I will NOT process orders of 6 or more. If you purchase 6 or more, it won't give you the quantity discounts and you will be charged full price for every target you order, so it's not worth it

Thanks again and feel free to PM me should you have any questions. I will update the thread should there be any delay in shipping, but I can't image any issues.

Thanks,

TTM

Jyruiz,

Got your order.... Thanks!

About 1/3 of you have paid already. I should be able to get all the targets out in the mail by Monday, so you should receive them in the beginning/middle of next week.

Thanks again! Love to hear the feedback once you get them!

Bought mine! Cant wait to hit it... What would you recommend for minimum distance for a 7.62x54 148gr lead core?

Thanks again for that freebie on my last order through your ebay store!

100 yards is what I recommend. You can shoot closer and the target should hold up just fine, but I don't "advertise" that.

Now sweat on the freebie. Hope you liked them.

Guys,

I have to say this first group buy has been a tremendous success. After posting the link just 1.5 days ago, I have sold 77 targets. Meaning as of this moment there are just 3 left!

All orders will be shipped out on Monday!

Thanks again! I will be posting another group buy in the next week or two.

They have all sold out. However, shoot me a PM with your email addy and I will honor the price. However, I'm out of stock at the moment as I only cut exactly 80 of them for this GB.

Thanks,

Same here. Just saw the link and also unable to order. I'm post #9 (ctseng15) on the sub-forum and committed to 2 targets.

PM sent with Paypal addy.

This is what happened with the GB.... Eveyone who signed up for it, I PM'd immediately once I had the link up and going. I also posted it in the commercial sales forum and my sub-forum saying the link was active and ready to go.

I looked in to emailing everyone a PayPal invoice, but that was just not feasible as there were a good amount of you. It would have been harder to keep track of on my end and would be much harder to get all the printing labels printed out.

Again, if you were on the GB list and did not get to purchase for whatever reason, shoot me a PM and I'll make sure you get a target. I cut exactly 80 of them, so it may be a week or so to get these additional ones out, but I will honor the pricing.

Thanks guys

TTM

And I saw your pm as an email on my cell, but I never tought you would let someone else buy the targets i had reserved by posting here. So I waited to have a few minutes on my Desktop at home to pull the CC from my wallet.
I guess I will have to wait till next time, but the targets I was buying were for an event happening this week.
thanks

Got my targets. They look decent if a little bit smaller than what I was expecting. How do you guys plan on hanging these? I am going to paint them this weekend to stop the rust.

Wow! Surprised by the surface rust. My targets usually get stored under the plasma table and there is splashing whenI cut. I usually cover them with a tarp, but on occasion they still get wet. Should wipe off with a rag. Any steel that has been shot blasted to clean it up will oxidize quicker when it is exposed to any moisture. Again, this will wipe off with a rag.

This batch of targets was also shot blasted, which is something I normally do not do. The shot blasting is nice, but it removes the mill scale, making it more suceptable to surface rust.

Looks just like only that one target has very light markings.

I usually leave my targets raw steel to be quite honest with you. You can paint them, but after a day of use it will need another painting.

Thanks again!

I shot everyone a pm with instructions on how to purchase. This is the first GB i have done on this forum. Im sorry you were not able to get it on it. After having my guy tweak my my webpage, there was no way for me to give everyone a unique password to buy a target.

Unfortunately for me, I am technologically challenged. I have basic computing skills and I dont know how to do all the fancy website stuff. Again, my guy is revamping everything for me, but it will take a couple of weeks.

I promise the next GB will go much smoother. I will somehow ensure everyone who is signed up can somehow get locked in better.

Here is what I came up with for mine:

Made out of scrap I had laying around. Upright is a solid hardened axle shaft, the "hostage taker" was an idea I had and a 3" gong on a hinge.

Drabnor,

Nice job on the hostage target! You made yourself a very expensive target for just $42!

Just a tip though.... For hostage targets, I always recommend slightly angling them down towards the shooter, maybe 10-15 degrees. This helps keeps the paddle to either the left or right side, and it also helps deflect the bullets downward.

Again, nice work!

Thanks! It is angled. There is also a bolt to keep it from spinning upon impact.

Hopefully I can go out Saturday and shoot it!

I built this last night, took me about 15 minutes. I have lots of lumber from all the projects I was doing and still doing at home. Underneath the base, the 2x4's are attached with metal brackets as well as screwed into each other, same goes for the middle post. The target hangs 4 inches away from the post. The rope is just to see how it would hang, I plan on using chain or cable until I can buy/make a steel stand that folds away or collapses down for easy transport.

Nice work on that one too! Over time the frag will chew up the wood, but it should last for quite a while.

The rope you are using will not last long. The frag will slice it in half likely during your first or second shoot. When you have time, run over to Ace hardware or Home Depot and have them cut you a few chain links to use in lieu of the rope.

Just my $.02

For those of you who have missed my group buy, I have reposted a quantity of 30 of them. I have them password protected for the next few days. If you missed the GB and would like to get some, shoot me a PM so I can give you the password for this GB.

After Friday, I will remove the password and anyone will have open access to purchase.

Just wanted to say my Targets arrived as expected, great looking stuff.

I was one of the "didn't click buy fast enough group" on the initial 80.

I bought one of the 30+ Targetman posted after the initial group buy was sold.

thanks, Pics hopefully this weekend of shooting on the farm.
