Default Oak Tree Gun Club vs. Angeles Shooting Range

Haven't been to either of them, so I have a few questions.

Which one is better for shooting your AR15?

Do they both allow you to bring your own ammo?

Will either one have a problem with an AR15 built from 80% lower without a serial#?

Will either one have a problem with me having 10/30 pinned mags?

That's all for now...

Thanks.

OakTree has a 100 yard range vs Angeles you can go out past 600. Both allow you to bring your own ammo. The lower shouldn't matter and I've seen others use 10/30 mags at Angeles. I doubt OakTree would have a problem with 10/30s either.

Just an update for anyone that cares. Went to Oak Tree range today. Wasn't busy at all. The staff were friendly and helpful. Got to shoot my freshly built AR15 without a hitch. The range officer looked at my pinned mags and didn't say a word. Had a blast!

ROs look at my 75 round drums and 250 round belts and don't say anything either. As long as you are using your legally owned items in legal and safe ways, nobody should care.

Both places are great. I like oaktree better if im shooting handguns and not sighting in anything over 100yds. Otherwise its Angeles for me and angeles is almost half the price.

is there a speed limit to how fast you can shoot in the rifle range at Oaktree? I know they're cool about it on the handgun steel range, but unsure about the rifle range.

Not a fan of the enclosed amplification effect at oak tree rifle side.... Angeles for distance, view, and price.

The only thing angeles cares about is ammo that attracts a magnet and "STAY bEHIND THE RED LINE AND AWAY FROM THE FORWARD BENCHES

A clean Angelus run is they don't say anything to you about anything. Took my AR pistols with all the Ninja goodies last time. Got some some RO looks but no convo, GTG.
