Default RPD

So I've been contemplating buying an RPD kit since I have an existing drums that who knows where I got it from years ago that's just been sitting around. I see the price of the kits are starting to increase but I'm not going to fool myself I have no intention on building it myself so the question to the group who would you recommend to build it or who built yours and what they charge?

I built mine

But ^+1 to kiwi and Stan(project guns) if you don't want to try your hand at one, have you checked with DSA to see if they make them featureless? They sell the receivers to Californians... Not sure if they sell the complete guns though, it'd be about the same prices by the time your all said and done..

Calguns own 69mach1 at Hit Armory can probably build you one.

I think i asked him once a while back and he hadn't done one. Not to say he couldn't do it or hasn't done one since.

Thanks everyone for the replies but after contacting some of your recommendations and looking at what the total will be Parts kits additional items plus Barrel and reciever I just can't justify spending that amount of money just to build it some of these Builders are wanting $2,000 to build but you can purchase a complete rifle from $2,200 $2,600. Looks like I might just be stuck buying one from Atlantic arms, unfortunately 69mach1 doesnt build the RPD I actually just picked up an AK he completed From me 2 weeks ago and I discussed it with them all in their shop

I built one. Never really worked perfectly. I would recommend sending the lower out for trigger pack install. Project guns does the best job.

Honestly the ds arms ones Iíve seen have been good and arenít all that much more expensive than the kits

@polishmike seems cheaper to buy already built, people are asking $1,000- $2000 to build off a supplied parts kits
