December Inland Empire Chapter Monthly Shoot! Saturday, December 1st @ 7:30pm
Saturday, December 1st at Rancho Magnum Range @ 7:30 PM - 10:00 PM
The shoot will follow the order of "Meet, Shoot, Eat". The "eat" portion will be held at Applebees. We are going to put together a little competition at this shoot, and the winner of it will get a little prize The meeting will be held in the lobby. This is where you will sign in. Once everyone is checked in I get the list to the range staff and you pay the range fee before entering the range. Once we are ready we will be given our lane assignments. Since all of the shooting is going to be afterhours and after the meeting, there will be NO WAIT! We will have a full two hours to shoot. Range Fee: As long as we get at least 11 people it is $20. Address to Rancho Magnum: 9049 9th St. Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730 Address to Applebees: 10709 Foothill Blvd Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730 I am going to try having a place to eat settled before hand so that we can ensure proper accomodations are made for us. Applebees worked out nicely the two times we have eaten there and has a nice relaxed atmosphere to it. Competition: Back to the basic for this one. After several months of tough competitions, we are going to enjoy a more relaxed competition for December. Centerfire pistol only. 10 rounds. 60 seconds. Distance and targets to be announced at shoot. Guns Allowed At range: Handguns at common handguns calibers Rifles: Rimfire + 5.56 IF you purchase their frangible ammo at the range No shotguns For anyone interested in coming out that missed the previous ones, please come on out, it is a very enjoyable time with other Calgunners. Look forward to see you all there! Please be sure to post that you are coming, any guest you are bringing, and if you will be joining the competion and if you are joining us for dinner. This will allow us to make sure we have the right number of targets for the competition and lets me know that we have enough people to get our negotiated rate of $20/person. I should make it to this one +2. I'll also be bringing my newly acquired P-01.
Does anyone have any .380s?

Im coming without bringing new shooters this time. Takes lots of time and Im being selfish this time. Yes I have a 380 and will bring it. Anyone on here that would like to shoot any of my guns is welcome to.
Glock 27 Kahr p380 with a crimson trace Ruger p90 I will bring a couple of buffalo bore super .45's. If you want to try them in my or your .45's let me know. They are pretty cool. |

Sean, I'm glad you have a "maybe" list as I seem to have had a lot of trouble remembering the other ones after saying I'll be there.
Put me on the maybe list please. My wife is having back surgery (2nd one since Jan.) on Nov. 29, to remove the hardware from the earlier one. If she is still in the hospital on Dec. 1, I intend to be at the shoot (yes, she said it was ok). If she is home, I obviously cannot. I will try to let you know for sure prior to the shoot. If I can make it, I'll be in the competition too. |

It varies from 13-24. We typically will have a little bit of lane sharing going on since the range only has 12 lanes (and 1-2 might be offline), but it usually works out quite well.

Me + 1.
This will be our first time going to a Calguns event. Look forward to meeting everyone. For the competition, I only have 2 seven round mags. Will reloading be allowed?

Yes, reloading will be allowed so long as you don't take more than 60 seconds to fire all 10 rounds. See you there!

No, but wish they did. But, given the number of bullet holes in the ceiling tiles, I understand why they don't.

Quote:
1st fee is cost per shooter. 2nd fee is a flat $100/hr for after hours range rental that is evenly split across everyone (2 hrs = $200). The cost per shooter reduces the more people we have, but until we get over 28 people, it won't go down since that is the break even point for $20 dollars. Anything less than 28 people we are getting a very significant discount (the less people the steeper the discount) Tonight there are 23 people saying they will go (not counting maybes). If all 23 show up, then each person is paying $11.30 / person to shoot, and splitting the range rental fee 23 ways for $8.70. Believe me the $20 sounds like a lot, but given that they still allow access to the rental guns, AR shooting (normally a members only function), and full use of the facilities, all after hours (which means overtime pay) they are giving us an pretty good discount. With 23 people we are getting an 8% discount. And typically we run in the upper teens of people showing up and then it is close to a 20% discount. Hope this clears it up!
