Just brass. We have the rest,
I'll dip into my stash for projectiles. I only shoot lead bullets out of my makarov, so I hope you're okay with that.

I'd like it if we could load some 11x59mm French for my 1874 Gras MLE....if only I had $4ea for brass and $200 for dies. Why did I buy this thing?

I'm going to purchase one of these primer pocket swage kits. Hopefully it'll be here in time for show and tell at the clinic and we can see how it performs versus my RCBS setup.

While the class appears to be full, I think we will have one or two flakes so, if anyone else is interested in attending, I'll start a waiting list.

I'll be sending out a confirmation PM to those on the list tonight and anyone who doesn't respond by Tuesday won't get the final PM with the instructions to the super secret location.

Anyone want on the waiting list?

Hopefully, you'll find it and bring the key. But, if not, there's plenty of room in the alley.

Final PM has been sent. I bet we have one or two flake so, there's still room if anyone else wants in. Just post here if you're interested.

I do but, I have my own dies already. I'm more surprised that no one wants to reload 7.35 Carcano. I have dies and bullets for it.

Sinclair makes a great short series. I recommend you guys watch this before class. It will make so much sense! (it will also start the next video once the first one ends.)

Im doing the Makarov, would it matter if the brass I bring is already decapped/ sized with regular 9mm dies? I would like them to have the same headstamp. If not ill put some unsized brass in the tumbler now. Thanks

Sorry, I didn't see this until just now. It was at a secret location in Saugus.

Here are some pictures of today's clinic that I took with my cell phone. Sorry for the "quality" but it is all I had with me today.

Thanks again to everyone who helped run the clinic! I had a blast (sorry, no pun intended), and it really helped de-mystify the reloading process.

I'll be heading to the range in a couple of weeks, and I plan to shoot the batch I loaded at the clinic. I'll post the results after the trip.

Also, what was the name of the primer crimp swaying tool we used, and the case trimmer? I forgot to write down both of them.

Glad you enjoyed the clinic.

The primer crimp swage tool is made by ch4d.

Not sure which trimmer you used...if you're referring to the one in the drill it's the CTS trimmer.

Hah! The student who had the (mis)fortune to work with me had to use the hand tools for swaging, chamfer and debur, and the hand cranked lathe trimmer! No pain no gain!

Is the date and location set for the next clinic? I definitely want to jump in. I have a bunch of brass just waiting for me to work on them.

Toes, bubala and I will be meeting up in a couple weeks for a NRA Metallic Cartridge Reloading Instructor's course. We'll set a date for the next clinic then. Check back the second week of May when a new date should be posted here.
