Default What do you have in jail?

It's a SIG Sauer P227 SAS, like new with box and papers. I'm not sure it was ever even shot. There are light scuffs on one magazine, but no powder smell, no carbon on the breach face or ramp...minty clean. A PPT that lets me buy another gun tomorrow!

When the hobby becomes an obsession...Here's an update (who cares? Just pretend, okay?)
Here's the released SIG P227

The gun I bought a couple days later as a new gun was also released, a HK USP Expert 45ACP:

Both shoot nicely! At 10 yards (point blank range for you seasoned shooters) the SIG P227 did this:

And the HK did this:

Now, two more are in jail from a couple PPTs: another SIG (P229 Nitron)

and a Nighthawk Custom Talon

both seller's pictures.
So here's what happened today! After polling folks for which 9mm HK I should buy next, and after deciding I want more SIG's (P220/ P226/ P239 to start on roster), I went to my local range and found a gun that has been on my list for ten months but never at the top (partly because they're hard to find 'round here): a CZ 75 SP 01. I paid for it and they will hold it until I am eligible to buy another new gun mid-July.
NOW I'm done. Only because I'm out of gun fun money...

You better should have bought this CZ SP-01 first

And made the CGW mods

Would have saved you a lot of money on all your previous HK & Sig requirements . . . and you would have had a lot of fun / gun money right now

Remember my 'wise' words after mid July 😉

Oh, I will!
I have shot a 75 B before and loved it. While this will be my first CZ, I do have a Sphinx SDP Compact (a high grade Swiss CZ copy). The Sphinx is the most accurate of my 9mm's (but it's close!) and a pure joy to shoot.
But CGW will be high on my priority list, if I can get over having to ship a firearm. I have shipped $30k watches before, but something about shipping a gun has me worried about the details. I'll figure it out (or search Calguns).

Believe me . . . I have more fear to ship my watch - even insured - to an RSC than a pistol to . . . 😉
