Thumbs up AR Pistol gallery thread 2.0

The original thread is closed and locked, here's 2.0, show your AR Pistols here!

I'll start with mine, it's a factory built Adams Arms piston 7.5, added Daniel Defense sights, Shockwave Brace, and law tactical folding adapter:

Started with a full FDE Radical Firearms 7.5 pistol and ended up with this. I will say that I went down the SB15 and SBX route and the KAK Blade ended up suiting my needs a lot more than I initially expected. No ragrets. 10/30 rivet pinned mag.

Basically kept the Radical Firearms core and went all bolt on:

- Upper, lower, BCG - Radical Firearms 5.56, 7.5”
- Trigger – Stock
- Holoson 503C RDS
- Sampson MFG quick flip F/R same plane sights
- Odinworks 9.5” KMod rail
- CustomMuzzleBrakes.com ULC 3.5”L, nla
- Law Tactical Folder, gen2
- KAK pistol tube w/ Blade
- Magpul MS4 sling
- SLR Rifleworks Handstop Mod2 – Barricade
- ZeroBravo Reversible Hand Stop
- SureFire M300 Mini scout
- Arisaka 300 series light body
- Arisaka Offset Scout Mount
- BCM Gunfighter Ambi CH

*** added ***

I know this hella months later but my buddy finally came back from Japan. Last weekend we had a chance to pew pew pew 400+ rounds of .223 and 5.56 at his property in the Santa Cruz mtns. Radical Firearms 7.5" ran flawless WITH the Law Tactical Folder. No cycling issues what so ever. This is with "Stock" internals (upper, lower, stock trigger, BCG, non-adj gas block, 7.5" barrel).

The muzzle shroud/concussion device is a NLA part by CustomMuzzleBrakes.com, 3.5" long allowing me to get a 9.5" Odinworks Rail on there.

Sooooo much fun to shoot this piece. I'm going to have a hard time deciding what to do when the time comes to keep it compliant.

The muzzle blast was apparent but not overwhelming. Occasional flame, but that was expected.

I had largely been hesitant of shooting at a public range because if I needed to trouble shoot any function I wanted to have free reign to tinker with it rather than an RO hovering over me...

That said, The only issue I had was the Arisaka mini scout mount started to loosen up, so we took that off mid-day and kept shooting it.

One change is that I am running the SBM4 Arm Brace by SB Tactical instead of the KAK blade, and that's mostly cosmetic.

Kudos to Radical Firearms... super satisfied with the price point and stoked that it runs like a champ so far. Looking forward to shooting her again....

You can buy a complete pistol from Gunfighter Tactical in Miramar/San Diego. They get pretty busy with build requests so I'd get a hold of them soon berfore the new year.

Thanks Brotha. Your 9mm side charge glock is looking sexy. Have the Matrix 9mm side charge upper for an 80% pistol build. Unfortunately from my understanding, the NFA lower does not bolt hold open with any other upper besides NFA and Spartan. Had to go with TheBuffalo.us 80% 9mm slim colt lower.

Its Over All Length is greater than 26 inches. As far as I know, this makes it okay to have a vert grip because the ar pistol is now an AOW.

Man, that is a NICE build.

Question; do you have any detailed photos of the modifications made to that Shockwave brace? I freaking love that thing.

There were 3 people being children in there so it got locked. Some people ruin it for the rest of us.

On that note, I made some changes to my 9mm build.

Fortis brake
Midwest Industries extended tube
JL billet orange rails
Taran Tactical flat black mag extension (mag is blocked using magblock)

Took it to the range and broke the bolt catch. So I did the quarter mod ($0.75) and swapped the tubbs flat wire spring to an extra power wolf spring. Should run better with my NFA 8.5 ounce buffer.

I have a few questions regarding ar pistols and the new laws in 2017.

All ar pistols are required to be registered as an AW as well as have the maglock?

Ar pistols cannot be featureless, so they are required to use a maglock yes?

Even those who've made pistols from 80% must register the firearm as an AW?

Sorry for posting here as I'm unsure where to ask this, so if you could point me in the right direction please.

Read the title, this is a GALLERY thread, not law discussion. This would be the section Newsom/Deleon/Harris would be interested in:
