Default Scope mounting

Not sure if this is the right place, and hopefully I don't get hammered for asking, but I figured I'd give it a go... Anyone around the IE have a scope mounting/lapping and/or torque driver I can borrow? I need to install two scopes, hopefully once and for all...

Also, anyone know how to find out what rail/ring combos are suited for a particular scope and rifle combo? I can't seem to get the tool on Natchez to work... my two combos I'm trying to mate are a Remington 700 VTR 308 with a Vortex Viper and a Marlin XL7 270 with a Redfield Revenge... I have a Leupold rail and rings that SHOULD fit the Remmy, how do I know if they're the "right" ones?

I’m not local to you... but it’s really worth owning some of these tools, specifically the torque wrench.

This is what I use, and it’s affordable.

I use it for everything from scope base, rings, and action screws…

Sorry don't know where IE is. Yesterday I bought a torque wrench from Harbor Freight. Now on-sale @ $19.99. Go on-line and order one. They have stores all over. Check their website for the nearest.
Make sure it reads in INCH/LBS. NOT FOOT/LBS
Just got a Burris mount for my AR and the directions say to torque the top rings down to 20 in-lbs. That is the lowest setting on the Harbor Freight wrench.

I have Weaver's torque driver, and it works great. It's a little more expensive than the other options listed, but the extra cost is worth it, imho.
