Angry Browning Yukon Gun safe

I needed a small gun safe to go with my larger Browning GS. I purchased one at Sportsmans Warehouse. It was very finicky to start with, but so was my other one. It would always take me 2-3 attempts minimally to get it open. Now I can get it open at all. About a dozen attempts - nothing. I cant get through to a live body at Browning.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.....I'm becoming livid

I own a Canon safe with the S&G electronic combination lock. The common remedy is that prior to punching in the combination, firmly rotate the door handle clockwise to its stop.

Electronic or combo? I have a small electronic safe that sometimes doesn't open. A hit with the palm of my hand where I know my solenoid is, always does the trick. Try new batters?

It's a dial, but I finally got it open by shaking and moving the handle counterclockwise. I really had to rattle it hard

Once open, I would pop the cover of the door and take a look at the mechanism inside the door. Put in the combo and try to open again while looking at all the mechanical parts. Something must be sticking or getting in the way.

My 30 year old sportsman’s safe with manual S&G lock still works great
If it’s electronic and you can switch it out to manual do so, my buddies have have lots of issues with electronic locks

If something inside the safe is pushing on the door it can act that way.

If the handle is spun all the way to the fully extended limits it can prevent the lock mechanism from releasing (due to friction, I assume). Try moving the handle a hair from fully extended before putting in your code.

The acceptable failure rate of a safe keypad should be no higher than 0%

The maximum number of tries it should take to to open using the correct combo should be 1.

None of my safes (AKA residential storage lockers) have had any of the above problems. If one did, I would repair it or replace it immediately for obvious reasons. Good luck to the OP. There is nothing more infuriating than buying an expensive piece of equipment with zero customer support after the sale.

S&G dials can be recomb'd with the tool and instructions. Yours might be half a hash mark off or something.

It's really not hard to do.
