Default SureFire G2X Pro LED Flashlights $40 shipped

For those of us that will not get the Surefire flashlights from Surefire's Black Friday sale, here is another option. It is sold and shipped by Amazon so I think the chances of receiving a fake are very low.

https://www.amazon.com/SureFire-Flas.../dp/B01I1YXFMG

On the flip side, if you are willing to look at other brands with out the name recognition of Surefire, I have had good luck with Fenix, Olight and the Anker lights sold on Amazon but then I'm much harder on AR15s than flashlights.

Now $37.15 sold by Amazon. I'm holding out for the aluminum body though, hopefully Surefire comes through.

$37 + tax is about $40 depending on your tax rate.

In my opinion this Anker light is a good overall deal for $42.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

In my experience the lumen ratings are accurate (well as far as I can tell comparing it to other higher end flashlights) and well built for the cost. $59.99 -$20 coupon (you have to click it) brings it to $42 delivered. The built in USB charging is convenient. I do not have this light yet (it will come Friday) but I have other Anker lights and I have not had any issues with them.

As far as Anker goes, I did have one of their branded USB hubs go out 1.5yrs after buying it. I contacted their customer service email, and received a response with in 24hrs. I just had to send them the Amazon order number and with in 2 days I had a total refund back to my account.

Any recommendations on a AA LED flashlight? I'm looking for:

-slightly bigger/brighter than the small ones
-2-4AA
-handheld only (not weapon-mounted)
-reasonably priced

I'm looking at the Streamlight 68702 and 88033

I ordered two of these from Amazon for gifts. They showed up, the packaging was already opened and the light was loose in the box and the light had streamlight batteries in it. Just spent half an hour on the phone with a guy from India that kept repeating scripted answers. They are sending me new lights brand new in the packaging. We will see when it shows up.

Does Amazon sell a lot of returned items?

I have bought several fake products sold and shipped by amazon. For example, the famous Howard Leight Sports Earmuff, tons of people got fake ones from amazon.

Trust but verify

From the 12 days of Turners "sale" ads, you can get the G2X LED Pro tomorrow (Saturday, 12/16) for $35. With tax it'll be cheaper than Amazon's price and you'll know for sure it's not a fake.

This Streamlight is better in almost every way except maybe runtime.. maybe -- only $30 shipped and you can have it in a day or so

And I'm anti Surefire these days..

and this is cheaper..

Yea, I thought they would do the right thing too.. instead they decided to piss people off over $7 per a light.. F them and their lying "it's backordered" emails.

Hey, the Streamlight even comes with batteries..

I will not be lied to then buy the product. My word and principles stand for something.

Sorry OP. I love a good deal and an honest company makes it easy to do business with.

If nothing else, this has opened eyes for other avenues when it comes to lights.

No offence taken. This post is almost 2 weeks old and the situation has changed. I had hope that they would make things right.

I received this light, it was not as bright as I was expecting (it may have been more spill than throw). I wrote my review on Amazon and Anker contacted me directly, eventually sent me a new light and did their best to make me happy (had to send one of the two back). Overall, I'm not super in love with it, but it is not bad for a 10 minute light. For $40, it is not a bad idea (26680 battery, built in USB charging, 3 LED head), but not worth $60+ in my book.
