feedback on Omni Polymer lowers
everything i read on these doesn't sound good, does anybody have any info on these lowers? asking cause you can get a stripped one for 40 bucks. is it you get what you paid for type of thing?

You get what you pay for ??? the poly lower "the new frontier" have lots of good feedback

sorry guys im only looking for feedback on omni. this is for my Frankenstein build and i cant find a frontier in stock. omni are 39 bucks so that cheap. the reviews are very limited but not good but not like omg bad. wanted to know if any of the good calgun members has one or knows someone with one.

I went over these in the turners subforum, look there if you're interested.
Summary, the AR15 reciever halves we not designed to be made of plastic and when they are there are high stress failure spots, especially around the rear takedown pin and receiver extension. Don't bother. |

Picked one up from Palmetto State Armory when they were $35. I've read some bad reviews for all the polymer type lower receivers but for $35 I can sure give it a try. I saw an Omni lower some months back go for way more than that at a local shop for more than double what PSA is selling them for now. Not doomsday prepper material, but maybe a lightweight plinker AR15 build material though.
