Default I'm looking at the world thru rose colored glasses...

I've been wearing Randolph Rangers for years. I've been using dark purple lenses, since most (all) of the targets I shoot are in bright sunlight, against a clear blue sky.

They've been working well, but I tried my buddy's vermilion (rose) lenses. My God, it's like when I had cataract surgery.

I CAN SEE AGAIN !!

Anybody using red/pink/ vermilion lenses to shoot clays?

I have HD - yellow, orange, purple and brown lenses. Randolph Rangers XLW.
You should also try orange. Seems counter intuitive, but works well.

I hunt with yellow, amber, gray. Yellow is my go-to for all conditions.

For me it's vermillion most of the time except for in the woods with a lot of trees and bushes in the background. Then it's yellow or orange.

My Pillas have a dark red/almost brown lens and work great in big sunlight conditions; my Rudy’s have what they call racing red as well as their laser copper lens colors. Can’t remember which colors I have for the Rangers..

Why not? Seeing is hitting after all. Not only that, Pilla frames are very comfortable to wear.

If you're looking for anther color lens for your shooting environment, check this web site: https://pillasport.com/collections/shooting

It is from Pilla but it gives you a general idea how different colors work in different conditions.

I use 3 different shades of purple lenses and also light yellow color one for night shooting on my Pilla, they are very easy to swap and since I tend to shoot from bright to dark conditions (afternoon to night sometimes), I love the ease of changing out lenses.

Can you bring them on Wednesday? I'd like to check them out.

I got some Wiley X with the prescription inserts. Change colors of the shield portion and if the shield gets scratched pretty cheap to replace.

Unfortunately I got them just after I had to greatly limit my shotgunning. Personally, I notice more difference with the correction than the colors, but using the right tint to get the right amount of light has been beneficial. I shoot pistols indoor, and shotgun in daylight, flat light and under lights at night.

All-in with 3 frames, 5 colors and 1 bifocal insert was like $200. Plenty fair IMHO.

I have dark grey, yellow, orange, clear and vermillion.

I use a Post 4 frame with Vermillion lenses. For me, it makes the clay glow. Love the tint.

In Pilla, I like the 48RHC. Nice lens

Oh jeez, that could be taken many different ways

Personally, yellow works for me, but I do need a new prescription.
