Now that you said timberlands it makes sense. I was thinking that dark area above his boots was his od green socks thats why i said blousing.

Haven't laughed so hard in a while. Was never in combat and never pretended. Making it through Marine boot is good enough for this Devil.

I just feel bad for them. I want to know what is going on in their head that they think it is ok? Also why do they all shoot for the moon? "I am a ranger, SEAL, Delta, EOD, medal of honor recipient, with 4 silver stars with V device!" I just never got it.

Theres a soldier out there that was a former korean native. He just barely got his citizenship and speaks with a broken accent. Hes airborne and air assault tabbed so if you see him dont kick his butt. Hes the real deal! I used to always joke with him that one day he was gonna get jumped for being mistaken as a poser because well.... Hes very korean! That means hes extremely goofy in terms of his traditions, accent, mannerisms, etc. Hes does not look or act like a hardened soldier but he is! This dude always had me laughing and in good spirits and im glad he chose to become a us citizen and join our military! I remember when he was first caught doing some weird dance none of us heard of. Gundam style(however you spell it) anyways, our CPT found out about it and asked him to do it in the middle of one of our field missions. Good times.

The irony is all one has to do is “COPY” to the “T” any normal soldier and it would fool almost everyone.

Also, normal people don’t know the difference between super soldiers or administrative soldiers. So soldiers like me get a disproportionate amount of civilian appreciation based on the Hollywood perception.
These idiots would get that positive attention they are looking for if they would just wear the minimal uniform.

I was recently at a Yellow Ribbon event, and was at a club with my deployment buddies. I didn’t take a photo of it (I choose not to), but there was a USMC Lance Corporal in his blues riding a mechanical bull with two hot waitresses on it with him, with one of them wearing his fancy white cover. His uniform looked correct (other than the use of it). FWIW he did look a little worried his white cover was getting tossed around.
I'm a police officer in Houston, while I was working an extra job for Walmart security, this knucklehead made a beeline for me trying to impress me with war stories that had holes bigger than the Fulda Gap. Said he was coming from Ft Carson and enroute to Ft Hood.

Unfortunately Houston is nowhere near that route. Then changed his story to say he was in town to teach unarmed combat to police and deputies. Stated he had returned from Iraq two weeks ago where he had been shot in the chest with a .50 desert eagle but had survived with a broken sternum.

When I said "so, a Colonel, that's like an, 0-3, right, dude?" He said, "yeah, man, that's exactly right."

I let him keep going right up to the point he was going to leave and then I showed him my CAC card which identifies me as a Army Captain, and told him I knew he was faking and told him about the Stolen Valor act.

He got all sulky and said he was wearing the uniform in honor of his brother who was killed in Afghanistan two weeks ago, and then tried to say he wears the uniform for deer hunting.

He skittered off like a scared deer after I told him to beat it. I'd appreciate it if you could repost for a heads up to the Houston area.[/img]

I can't tell which one is fake. The poser in the pic or the Army captain security guard who's a cop

Link me to original posting. Id like to research this one a bit i think we may have stumbled on two fakers within a single post. Much like the resent outbreak of chinese military fakes and fakers getting conned by other fakers.

The security guard may well be nasty girls or reserves.

Hey, watch that Nasty Girl ****. I got that rep just because of what I'm forced to do by my chain to get a promotion... never works

I saw it on Joes Against Hoes II who quoted it from Stolen Valors page.
Reason I doubt the reserve/nasty girl part is that the original poster claims to be a captain. I just don't see a captain working as a walmart rent a cop. That whole college education plus being a cop. Don't cops make good money in Texas?

You know, the 1SGT never does a safety brief after a deployment what to do with all your money. Too many victim soldiers have fallen prey to the underworld of escorts and buying multiple women a night until theyre broke.

For instance, if i had a safety brief about it and was told to limit my escort escapades to one escort a night or one every week i would still have a ton of money left over. Its pretty sad when you cant afford escorts anymore and have to downgrade to fat military wives while trolling craigslist.

I mean, there should atleast be a class about it or something every few months.

That's what's great about being a Nasty. Your 1SGT is usually egging you on. Especially when you're trying to call a craigslist hooker asking if she does group rates, military discounts or takes a star card...

True story.

I had a 1LT that was one of my reserve unit Company Commanders that worked front gate security as his day job.

So it does happen.

If some one is walking around in uniform they better have a CAC on them. A quick call out can be very easy.

Ranger Ralph Hall

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eZnhnoASXV4

This is a 48 minute interview video. I have not watched it all yet.

I got to the part where the interviewer tried to trap him (the ranger being infantry) and asked if he had got the CAB, and he said no, he has the CIB, so he didn't fall for that one. But then he has jump wings with a Star on the top, but then there is a "second" star BELOW it at 7:22, and it looks like one of those brass stars that go on the ribbons (that annotate multiple awards for deployments, etc, not oak clusters). I have never seen that, nor even seen it in my little uniform award booklet I use to put my uniform together.

I never served in combat, but I earned the right to wear the uniform and what little was on my chest was rightly earned. I really don't have words for how much this infuriates me.

All of these people at one time were able to enlist and serve, but didn't . Years later they want to walk around and enjoy the accolades and honors that our service members rightfully enjoy. These people must know they are risking their personal safety walking around playing soldier if they cross paths with some real Soldiers or Marines (especially the combat arms guys).

I think that was the case where it was decided that impersonating military with medals was A-ok and a part of first amendment of the constitution

Pursuant to Title 10 U.S.C 771, wear of the uniform is unlawful for non military members.

Taken from the Cornell University Law School website: http://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/10/771

10 USC § 771 - Unauthorized wearing prohibited

Except as otherwise provided by law, no person except a member of the Army, Navy, Air Force, or Marine Corps, as the case may be, may wear—

(1) the uniform, or a distinctive part of the uniform, of the Army, Navy, Air Force, or Marine Corps; or

(2) a uniform any part of which is similar to a distinctive part of the uniform of the Army, Navy, Air Force, or Marine Corps.

They supposedly changed it again. I know it said they could impersonate us but not for monetary gain now. But supposedly an even newer law was signed superceding that. Idk

Cool! Didn't know that they changed it back. I would of thought our current administration wouldn't of cared. At what level is it considered stolen valor? Like, can a SWAT team be arrested for rolling up the street in an MRAP and piling out wearing UCP, Multicam, or Marpat?

Lmao, good luck enforcing that one. Maybe we can get the ARNG or USAR to activate under orders that we have a national defense/state of emergency for that and detain them at a rolling ECP.

LOL. I would suppose not, that is unless they were wearing tapes with "U.S. ARMY/NAVY/AIRFORCE/MARINES" in which case they'd be misrepresenting themselves as a service member.

F*cking MPs, worthless pieces of Sh*t, (worst 3 years of my life) Deployed to Iraq as an MP, terrible time, females in the unit running a brothel out of their room, individuals with well over ten years of service asking me if I had zeroed the AT-4 and if I had extra rounds for it, another individual (20 year SPC) asking what the AT-4 was. Add in the E-6 gunner (driver was an E-6 as well with the TC a Corporal) firing a warning shot with the Ma Duce, inside of the Green Zone. Three E-6s (one a female who pissed herself the one time she went on patrol) refusing to leave the wire, so they get put in the TOC and being given Bronze Stars, a male SGT who dropped a tow bar on his foot and then milked it for the rest of the deployment while his WIFE continued to go out on patrol up until she was sent home because she had a broken ankle. A female SGT who got reassigned to our unit because she was banging everyone in her original unit. A female SFC or MSG (I forget) banging SPCs. The CO and XO being fired during the train up, the 1SG being fired and sent home within the first week or so of us getting into Iraq (I thought we deployed without him, never saw him once we left Ft Dix) A female E4 or 5 who was sent home shortly after going home on leave because she got knocked up on leave by one of the male soldiers who went home on leave at the same time.

I am so grateful this most recent deployment was all men and for the most part all Combat Arms (minus the S2, S4, S6, and medic) not bad, 18 guys, 8 of them being Officers, only one lower enlisted (not counting the medic who was a Corporal) of those ten Combat Arms, 11A, 11B, 11C, 13F, and 19A. We didn't have any of those problems I experienced on my last deployment, everyone was relatively competent in their jobs and mature enough to not get into shenanigans, minus the SSG and 1LT setting off 9 claymores within minutes, giving themselves TBI lol.

How much were they charging? Just curious if it was fare market value compared to incall service here at home or if it was over inflated because of the situation.
Were any of these good looking or were desert eyes involved?
