I'm keeping the original wood as is to go with the 30inch full choke barrel it came with and will switch it with some Walnut 870P stocks if I can find em

Ah yes. Excellent idea. I'd love to have that gun and put 870P walnut stocks with limbsaver on it, an 18.5" barrel, and a mag extension. Man I would love that! Sweet any way you slice it though.

It's got a 50's era 20in blued barrel with rifle sites chambered for 2 3/4 inch shells only. 3 shot blued Rem OEM extension on it's way from Midway! Old school 870 Wingmaster Police.

BigBoy... That's going to be a very cool gun! I'll bet you're excited.

I have a 2-round Rem blued extension kit on the way from Midway myself!

http://www.midwayusa.com/viewproduct...tnumber=999663

I'll be putting it on this gun, that's presently on order at Remington, and should be here in 4-6 weeks:

Yee haw! New Old School/7-rnd New School 870 Police!

Thanks I'm hoping it going to look nice. I bet you're excited too with your upcoming 870P! I found some old school Police Walnut for the Wingmaster on GB. So the conversion is complete. Wingmaster $200, 20in barrel $125, 3 shot extension $50, stock set $50. Wingmaster dual purpose HD & field all for $425!

Nothing special.

Plain jane 870 Express Super Mag

Home defense 870, this one's never been fired because nobody's ever broken into my house, but the neighborhood is slowly going downhill, so I might get to fire it one of these days:

Cheapy NEF 20 gauge on the right, this is actually my favorite shotgun:

I have a Mossy security combo as well that I got from a closeout salel, but it's still in the box. I plan on giving it to my cousin's son for his birthday if I convince his mom that guns aren't the end of the world.

Guess it's time I updated a bit.... here are some recent additions and an old standby that's been given some new wood furniture.

I'm really enjoying my new discovery of 1300's! These are some awesome guns indeed.

Just for fun 870 with quad rail, Surefire rail forend, Mesa Tactical high tube with Enidine recoil tube, CAA foregrip with integrated light attachment, etc.
Total capacity = 6+1 in gun and +8+4+6 on side saddles = 25 total.

As pictured and fully loaded with 25 shells (19X3" buckshots and 6X2.75" slugs) it weighted 15.6 pounds. I built it for entertainment only really...it is too heavy to be practical.

He can own one if he is an FFL with a Class 3/SOT license with a Police demo letter. You can own modern automatic firearms. Not a big deal bro..

Awesome! I picked up a gloss and wood grain 8 shot 1300 Defender from an Out Door World for $200 20 years ago back when Ca. was cash and carry for long guns. Sadly it was stolen a year later but the finest shotgun I have ever owned or fired still to this day. The long butt stock fits my lanky arm length like a glove.I think this just made my must have list right behind the Ruger LCP I am still on the look out for.

That bird grip handle looks sweet as well but I already have a Mossy pistol grip in the safe and local ranges don't allow them.

I have been looking for a similar rail system for my Mossy 930SPX semi-auto (just because) with no luck. All after market pieces seem to be based around the 500 pump which are more prolific. Any one got any leads on rail systems or other cool 930 stuff please respond here or drop me a P.M. I may pick up an 870 just to get that cool rail :-). I love going to the range and cleaning clays for a few hours with my beat up tacti-fool 930 while guys with $2K. polished or camo jobbers with matching dufus hunting gear on can't seem to shoot their own foot without a map. I ignore rude stares alot .

*sigh* my must have list just got a little longer.

Lon.

M4 w/ KZ forend and KZ charging lever... still researching a magazine tube extension (want to stay legal) and which small light to mount on the front. The weapon is already heavy.. trying not to add much more.

Beautiful 1300's. I've owned two 870's now and I'm looking at picking up at 1300. The 870's are workhorses but the 1300's just seem like they have more "style" behind them. Can't exactly put my finger on it.

MarioS.... you should definitely go forth and acquire a 1300, especially an 8-shot Defender. They stopped making the gun about 4 years ago, I believe, and I have found three on GunBroker recently that I bought, one still brand-NIB, the other two very close to like-new in cherry condition. Paid about $315, $320, $299 for them. And I just found another for a friend who decided it would be the perfect HD gun for them... on Gunbroker, like new, for $320.

I love a good 870 and a good 500 and a good 590, and I have them! They're awesome guns and I would depend on any of them if I needed to.

But there isn't another pump gun in the world I would prefer to this, which is my go-to, bump-in-the-night shotgun. 8 rounds of 12 gauge goodness on tap before a reload, one-piece mag tube (no extensions), 18" barrel, short LOP stock, E-series LED weapon light on a CDMGear MOD-C bracket. S.w.e.e.t.

That said, I do lust after my most recently acquired shotgun, the new 870P walnut/blued.

Needs more S&W revolver action with it and it would be perfect! I am glad you decided to leave it stock though I think it does need a good leather sling.

Forgive me for I cannot resist... the 586/581 Smiths are among my most cherished revolvers... here's one of my 581's:

I makes a nice compliment to the "old school" 870P.
