M1917, fresh from CMP. This rifle was later re-barrelled with the Criterion barrel that CMP sells. It's a great shooter!



1909 Argentine Mauser, 30-06 barrel and sporter stock by someone else, Redfield scope by my gunsmith. Consistently shoots 2" groups at 200 yds, about as far as I want to walk.

We just had our annual "Bolt Action Day" at our local Service Rifle Club. Lots of Enfields for sure, but hopefully next year I'll be the token American with a Springfield.
