Default VEPR 12 anywhere? Atlantic firearms will not respond to emails/calls/messages

Anyone know who has a VEPR 12 that is NOT priced at 1499+. I have been trying to get ahold of atlantic firearms as their website will not open on my computer but they keep giving everyone with similar problems (as seen on the boards and on Facebook) the same instructions to contact their tech support who in 2 weeks has made no effort to get things resolved.

We are responding to over 600 emails a day and been very responsive on this board and Facebook. We are getting a few hundred orders a day so the site seems to be working for the vast majority of our customers. We responded to your posting here within 5- 6 hours I am sorry you are having issues getting to the site and and we can not help you with a Vepr 12 order.

I checked with Wolf, there are no more Vepr's coming until March / April, I would just snag one at 1499 or so because they are going to probably have a price increase.

Atlantic,

How can I get a vepr 12 or arsenal Ak order in? If 100s of people are ordering per day you most have some good stuff and I would like to order but it is impossible as I can't get to the web page and nobody has responded to my emails.

Saw that mach 1 doesn't ship to CA. Centerfire may but I don't know what to think about the no hardware/broken stock thing. Classic is $100 more than the others. Can anyone tell me if the VEPR is available on the atlantic website right now and for what price as I can't access the website. Thanks!

I have seen some guys wanting 3000 for their saiga 12s have not seen the super inflated vepr 12 in the forums yet but I'm sure it is there. I'm still trying to see if I can get this for 1399 shipped to California. Really want a vepr 12 but this is pretty steep. Maybe ill just put the money towards a second m1a?

They are averaging about 1800 on GB if you can get them there. If you have a seller willing to send it , its not too much off the 1399 or 1499 retail price. Figure shipping, tax , dros and any other bs of convincing someone to send it ca or having to send it to two ffl's. you are almost at 2100. So the price is not really inflated too much. Or just swap the carrier, gas block / gas tube and top covers on a saiga 12. I think unconverted ones are selling around 1200-1400. All those parts, plus refinish are prob 600 or so.

The Saiga 12 Ver.30 is identical to the vepr 12 , but made in a different factory is 1500 or so online. Plus the regular BS - It uses the same gas system and mags / magwell

Can anyone confirm that Atlantic firearms does not have any in stock? I am between them and classic at this point but may still bail on this as I may just get another m1a.

I bought my Vepr12 from ArmsofAmerica.com, I was on a waiting list for about 2 weeks. Very smooth and painless process.

pretty sure Atlantic says above "and we can not help you with a Vepr 12 order"

If armsofamerica.com has them I'd go with them in a heart beat, Mike is awesome

So I am leaning towards an MKA1919 now. Cannot seem to find them online anywhere. Anyone have a lead as to where I can find one that can be shipped to California besides gunbroker.

Atlanticfirearms.com, ArmsofAmerica.com, and Armslist.com. You can buy a bullet button from Goldenstatetactical.com if you find one on Armslist.com that is willing to ship it to California.

I didn't see one on armsofamerca that I could add to cart. Never used armslist before. Does Atlantic have them in stock? I can't get on their we page. Thanks for the help!

Sorry we are sold out of the Vepr 12 at this time , we are getting tons of emails so not sure why your specifc emails are not arriving the web site averages approx 225 customers per minute on the site. We did install security software in late 2012 and you could accidentally triggered the system .PM me your email address and IP address we will have the tech guys and gals see if you are on the blocked list otherwise the site is running just fine. I can personally assure you emails are working because it takes me 7 -8 hours a day just to try to answer them all and I am never able to finish .

Mach1arsenal has them but they wont ship to Cali. Centerfiresystems has them but I think they don't ship to Cali as well, you can ask them. If you find someone that will ship it to Cali, but wont put bullet button ask them if they will disassemble pistol grip, and send to your FFL(and ask your FFL if they will accept that way).

So, no pistol grip without bullet button is OK? That would make things easier.

that is most likely a no-go since shotguns have different rules than rifles.

shotguns don't have a featureless option. I don't think it can ever have detachable mags

My Vepr12 has the same ''Bullet Button" as my Ak. What if you send Mach1arsenal a bullet button to install, would they be willing to send it that way?

I've got a query into Legion about that. Not holding my breath for a reply, though. Why bother when they are flying out the door as is?

the Saiga/Vepr 12 BB is different than the regular saiga/ak lock. And if it is off a Saiga 12, won't you be in possession of an illegal configured shotgun while the new one is being shipped and in DROS?

Also, Legion doesn't have the Vepr 12. It has the Saiga 12 030. Similar but different

Does the Saga 12 030 come with last round bolt hold open? That feature alone made me go with the Vepr12 instead of the Saiga.

I believe so. Demo'ed to me last night w/empty chamber, mag in, safety off, bolt locks back when pulled manually.

Of course, the VEPR has the magwell, so that is another cool feature.

Product Summary
Saiga 12 Gauge shotgun, LE Variation, chrome lined smoothbore 19” barrel - This Saiga 12 was manufactured at the World Famous Izhmash Factory in Russia and Imported through FIME Group, LLC in Las Vegas, Nevada. This semi auto shotgun is featured original and added features configuration from Saiga. Will shoot both 2 3/4 “and 3” magnum. Bolt-Lock option and One-Shot or Semi-Auto Adjustable Gas tube, Black Stock Set, Warsaw Buttstock, RPK Handguard, New generation SAW Type Russian Pistol Grip.

Atlantic called me today and left a message. Hopefully I will touch base with them next week. In the meantime I am looking for an MKA1919 maybe someone here has seen one for sale or has a line on who could get one online for a decent price.

Veprs take Vepr / Saiga 12k mags , the older import Saiga's also have had a bolt hold open since 2007 at least, but its not the same as the current vepr. I have a 2008 import gun. To run the AGP and Surefire mags you need to take it out. Surefire mags will not work with the hold open on the vepr. Before anyone flames me on this. I have a Vepr and Surefire mag. Vepr's can take Saiga 12k mags (Milspec with the factory mag well) I called the factory and asked. Yes I speak fluent russian. I am not sure that if the V30 Saiga is the real deal or just a converted standard model with the new gas system. The bolt carrier is the same, but with a different piston , gas block and puck. I have not taken the gas block off yet to see how big the gas ports are and how many there are to compare.

If you want the hold open to work, you need to use 8 round factory mags that cost about 100-130 each. Also Solar tactical already has mag locks for the magwell guns. They will work just fine on both the new Vepr and Saiga .

Also the Vepr has the enhanced safety and a thicker receiver off the RPK machine gun. Looks to be a 1.6 or 1.5mm as standard 1mm receiver stocks will not fit in with out filing both sides.

The SGM mags have the last round bold hold open feature and work very well.
