Default Tell me about the PTR-32, H&K 7.62x39 rifle

Any individual which has the PTR-32, H&K style rifle in 7.62x39, please tell me what you think about the rifle.

How do you think the PTR-32 compares against the AK? (Reliability, range, etc.)

What is the overall length if the PTR-32 with the fully retractable A3 stock?

i read a thread a while back on problems with this rifle, basically this is the impression I got:

reliability < ak
magazine availability < ak
part/accessories < ak
gun smith with knowledge to work on it < ak

however, it's got one thing going for it

price is very much > ak

It hasn't been out long. It looks cool but as neo points out it doesn't have much going for it. My guess is it's probably fairly accurate though.

Its not really any different than any of their other offerings, just based on 7.62x39.

So picture a HK (or Cetme) in that cal instead of 308 or 556.

Im dying for a PTR91 or any other G3/Hk91 style rifle, but not dying to pay for 308, so this is something Ive considered, but I do have an AK pattern already, so it does not really add up.
