We are a firearms retailer located in the East Bay noted for our great firearms selection and great customer service. We have been able to create an excellent work environment with our Sales Associates and a good rapport with our customer base. We are looking for someone to lead our team of Sales Associates as a Retail Manager and maintain the reputation we have worked so hard to achieve.

The Tasks:
The Retail Manager will be responsible for the day to day operation of the store which include but are not limited to working on the retail floor, hiring, scheduling, employee reviews, managing/inputting purchase orders, managing the POS, and most importantly leading and motiving the Sales Associates while emphasizing customer service.

The Skills:
This individual must be proactive, self-motivated, driven, and be able to work autonomously while properly prioritizing their day and the time of the staff. Due to the nature of our business, we are held to strict State and Federal laws so being detailed oriented is a must. We also need these laws/processes to be properly and thoroughly explain to customer so this person must have strong communication skills and be able to handle difficult situation with a positive and courteous attitude. This person must also possess strong sales skills and the ability to coach the Sales Associates while leading by example.

Experience Needed:
Cash Handling
Retail Sales
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Mostly Word and Excel)
Knowledgeable about firearms and related laws
College Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
