Default How many yards should a pistol range be

Hello everyone
I have a quick question I am building my own private shooting
I got the riffle range down to 300yards which is the max I can do with the amount of land that I have
My pistol range is what I have a question about I don't know if I should set it at 50 yards or 25 yards
I am bulding perment shade and cement tables so it's a one deal I also want to shoot 22lr out of there any suggestion would be great thank you

Maybe make it so the target stands can be moved easily. 50 yards is plenty long enough IMHO. But if you make stands that have post with corresponding receivers at various yardage (i.e. 7-15-25 etc) you can just move them.

There's a local range here (SVRG i believe) that has that set up for rifle (25-50-75-100).

Good luck.

I thought about that my only thing is that I am trying to keep targets as close to the berm as possible to avoid any chance of bullets skipping the berms are 12 feet tall that was the reason I am setting a specific distance

Make it 50 yds. The shooters can move down the range to shoot as close or as far as they want. The table at 50y would be nice to shoot .22 rifles from.

The more important question to be answered, is how close you are to me and will this range just be available to the staff here.
