Default Gun store that is willing to order m1 garand from CMP?

Just wondering if anyone has personally purchased a m1 garand from the cmp? Who or which gun store did you use to do the transfer? I got everything required by them to purchase a rife but trying to find someone reasonable in price to do the transfer. Heard a lot of horror stores and want to try to avoid that. Thanks for any info given.

Peter Skinner at Mount Pleasant Arms processes lots of transfers for firearms purchased elsewhere, including at least one CMP Garand of my acquaintance.

Cheapest way to purchase is follow CMPs rules. For their price you won't find anything better. Rifleman/Appleseed. Gl with your purchase.

I bought my tractor M-1 from the CMP and had it delivered to Peter at Mt. Pleasant Arms. His FFL is on file with them and no problems whatsoever getting shipment. He does not order it though, you have to assemble the packet of qualifying documents and submit them with your payment.

Please keep in mind that CGSSA is now affiliated with CMP and so by joining CGSSA you will be able to order directly from CMP.
