I don't think you'll have to worry too much. From your previous posts all you have to do is wait for Larry to fire the first volley of rounds and it'll scare the elk right to you.

I'm going to try and do a very quick run for 4th season. I'm hoping that if Larry does get them moving, Tom or Larry would be willing to tie one to a tree for me... Then again, if it's as warm as it was last year, I'm not even going to think about it.

We'll see though, wife is being stingy with the kitchen passes!

Well first year I have gotten skunked. Saw more elk than ever before, saw the largest bull I have ever seen as well, but alas we were skunked.

That's alright. I've still likely killed more elk than everyone on this page combined. Never had missed an elk until 2 years ago. Missed a few deer, but only the one elk. I don't want to add to that number again.
