PTS - RIFLE 1 - SATURDAY, JANUARY 5th, 2013
Calguns Members:
Come train with us on SATURDAY, January 5, 2013 @ 8:00 am at Angeles Shooting Ranges located at 12651 Little Tujunga Canyon, Eagles Nest "C" Lake View Terrace, CA 91342 (arrive 15 minutes early). The cost of the class is $125.00 (8:00am to 1:00pm). . The following will be covered in CARBINE 1: -Nomenclature -Discussion of various sighting systems and slings -Zeroing -Marksmanship -Single target engagements (ready, low ready, high ready) -Multiple target engagements -Shooting on the move -Shooting from cover -Longer range drills -Transition to secondary weapon (if you have taken Handgun 1 or higher with us or another reputable school-will require in person assessment) -Malfunction drills -Assault course incorporating everything covered Carbine Course Requirements: Clients should have eye and ear protection (we'll provide ear protection if you don't have any). Carbine in good working order ideally with a sling. At least 3 magazines. A hat and sun screen. Cargo pants are recommended. A small bag to carry your equipment. Clothing for seasonal weather. Adequate water and snack/lunch. At least 400 rounds of factory ammunition.
