My Sig 1911 is currently SPF, so that should give you an idea of what I think about it.

However, this is only because I have the higher end 1911s, so the Sig is crap to compared to the higher end 1911s. BUT....I will say that the Sig 1911 is still a great 1911 if taking the higher end 1911s out of the bucket.

Nice collection! Happy with my Sig Nitron Rail. Do you have a favorite? Eyeing the Wilson CQB Light Rail myself.

Considering it is probably a 1/3 of the cost of those Nighthawk’s and Wilson’s I would expect someone to say that. However I will not be spending that kind of dough on a 1911. So if you did not have the others would you buy another Sig?

The Nighthawk Predator 2 is definitely my favorite. Something about the bobtail makes it more comfortable. The coned match grade barrel does help control that recoil a little better and the trigger seems a tad crisper than my other 5" 1911s.

If I didn't have the high end 1911s, I'd buy a Sig. However, I would actually save up a little more to get a Springfield TRP

Just the thing I was wondering the TRP is what I am currently saving for. But I do like that Sig.

Get the TRP first. I shot my friend's TRP and it's better than the Sig

I’ve got two SA pistols already which is why I was eyeing the Sig. I like the look of the rail on the Sig but really have had my eye set on the TRP.

Thanks for the input.

Here is one of my SA.

I bought this well-used C-Bob in January for $750 and just got her back from Ford's Refinishing today...
