We are looking for some volunteers to help man the hospitality area in the pits, please PM Seesm - we want to make this a comfortable and welcoming event for people new to CGN and for long-time members alike. We need plenty of photographers too! GeoVario and GUNPAL will be providing laptops to access CGN and we may have some iPads there as well. There will be FREE FOOD for anyone in CGN apparel of any kind or anyone who brings a print screen of their gunpal homepage.

I'm not sure if I can make the AMA weekend, but I'll be riding with Mason the 19th of this month for a track day in preparation of the pro races. I'll know when the date gets closer for the pro weekend. Any of you track day riders want to come ride with us? Sign up for the track day here on April 19th,

Let me know who wants to go and I will get you on the list of guys who are coming with me and we can maybe pit together... Team CalGuns / GunPal...

Yes "Skkeeter" and (maybe Dodge) I will be riding it will be fun.. I need to get back up to speed fast. I could NOT be more pumped... There is ALOT of work to do prior to this weekend... Btw anyone know anyone who is a good painter to paint 2 sets of bodywork Blue to match the stock Yamah stuff? I have 1 new ste and one like new used set they need to match and be done fairly fast... PM Ben or I on that if you can... Thanks

btw yes as Ben said this may make TV... My name and the side of the bike made it the last 2 years... Even though I am new at this I was in the right place at the right time for TV... (Sometimes getting lapped pays) :P
But truly we can do some many great things talking about our rights and teaching people at the races about what is important to help the United States stay UNITED!!

Make sure you dont get DQ'd for riding the track in the cut off time before the race. AMA had a rule that you couldnt ride the track some 30 days before a ama race. So be careful

Default TTXGP

This will also be the debut of the North-American TTXGP, an all-electric motorcycle race. My company Zero Motorcycles will be racing and have a booth at the event. Why should you care? Because the Zero X makes for a bad-*** stealth hunting vehicle. Check the video...

Yeah, the Zero might be the everyman's electric two-wheel transport. But if you want some hot Electric Metal between your legs you have to look to Mission Motors Mission One for a "bad-***" motorcycle that doesn't give anything up as far as the experience goes.

DMG has alot of rules implemented but not enough man power to enforce yet. But unless we get some better tires for the test day on the 19th the 2009 spec tires we are running are the worst tire EVER made... I was a full 2 seconds slower on this tire and most where about 3 off there best times. (I guess I like teh tire as it helped me get throught that pack a bit last year)
So with the tire we have now we will be setting no lap records... I hope to line up a new 2010 spec set of tires to try out by the 19th.

They (DMG) get alot of heat for all they have done thus far but if we stick with them they can do some cool stuff. They are run by the same family who is Nascar (The Frances) So they can not be all bad.

Last.... Ahhh if I remember right they were like $340-360 a set I forget... I looked for a receipt but could not find one... What sucks is the tires are Dunlops which ROCK (normally) but the spec tires sucked tail..

I ran Pirelli in the local series the year before and they are GOOD tires and so are the Dunlop regular race tires. Just the specs are NOT. haha :P

it's a fun track to view the event in person as well
some aren't; fortunately infineon raceway aka sears point is certainly worth seeing @ least once in one's lifetime
the television coverage should be great as well so will record the event

sears is the best track on the west coast
nice facilities too
can't wait til race weekend
right on!!! calguns

This is good stuff man. Craig's a good guy and a great rider. He'll represent the board to the fullest.

Knowing this, I just may need to check out the races (though I'm driving since I got a damn fix it ticket last year).

Don't forget to represent AFM too!

BWT we should try to call it a "rider nutrition" area and hang out for all of us CalGun buddies... They charge a crazy amount from what I hear for a "hospitality" area and yoru all my and Ben's friends... It is going to be FUN!!

Around the track I think Dodge means... To race this event you need a AMA Pro license. But on the 19th of this month if you want to ride ON the track. I can get you on a list to ride a track day there... $260 and it is big fun!! We can all pit together... (for trackday) I am SOOO pumped to get this going!!

Cool yeah there is a little you can do as far as take the fuse out fo your lights and tape over... (carefully so they are not all sticky after the day) A little safty wire is good but not needed for most track days. And you would want to catch any and all fluids so as to not make the track slippery for you and others. Pm with any specific questions for sure so I can help you out.

I'll see if I can go and volunteer Craig/Ben. Not sure yet for May. I'm not an DMG fan since they took over but the TTX racing sounds exciting after reading some articles on road racing world.

I used painterdude on ducati superbike board. i believe his url is http://finishingtouch4u.com

Here's what mine turned out to be. the bike looks hella faster than me.

Maybe my incentive by volunteering is I get some speed just being around ya, like maybe 8-10 seconds a lap at IR cuz I'm uberslow. LOL does osmosis work when you're 5-10 ft away?

craig aka seesm (official calguns rider) & a bunch of peeps are gonna try & ride sears w/pacific tracktime 4.19.10
michael earnest, ptt owner, won the opening round in open superbike this season. no disrespect intended if already aware

come on out as i'm confident someone will be able to tow you into quicker laptimes

john aka painterdude did an awesome job on your raceglass

he does amazing work anyways
i loved michael lochs/pres dna, duke he painted

sears is the best track on the west coast & have ridden from pacific in renton, washington all the way to wsmc in roseland,ca
infineon is easily most technical & fun track to ride

couple of pics of my rattecanned raceglass from a couple of years ago @ sears

come out & ride
