Same color but mixed in with High-Gloss Cerakote instead of Matte. With the High-Gloss finish the color shifts is crazy. Ill have some outdoor photos tomorrow along with side by side comparison of Matte and Gloss.

The gloss sure makes the color shift pop! This is my first time working with Clear Cerakote and very impressed with the results. The viscosity of the Cerakote clear is very thin compared to other clear coats like Diamond finish or 2k clear. Also applies very thin and did not notice any fitment issues what so ever.

Left:Cerakote Gloss
Right: Cerakote Matte

Nice work man. That gloss really brings out the multi-color affect. Do you offer your painting services to us locals?

I can vouch for SAGISI. He is a perfectionist and does absolutely awesome work. He does not half-*** the prep work and his equipment is top notch. Great guy to deal with and an asset to the Calguns community!

I have experimented with 2 other non color shifting pigments, including rose gold which I still need to play around with the base color to get a more rose gold effect and a Dark Mettalic purple.

Mahalo everyone for all the comments. I got a few more chameleon colors that came in and wanted to test it out but had nothing to test on. Not even 2 weeks and bye bye to the original matte chameleon paint job. The new color is dark purple-blue-gold-oranges. Blasted everything off and started over again testing out the new cerakote elite series as a base, along with the new color shift. Here's a photo of the new color. Cool color but a little too glittery for me. Not sure if I need to mix less or more pigment, if this is just how this color is, or if the new elite series paint affected the outcome. Long story short.. Lasted one day and then blasted it off and back to black base coat.
