Ok. You're both right, but are bickering over two different issues:

Chaseface: you are arguing the legality of hi cap shotgun mags(purchasing, aquiring, possession, etc.). You are right, in that they are no different than rifle or pistol mags.

SJ: you are arguing the legality of "using" said magazines. Yes, you can legally use >10rd mags in a shotgun.

There are more places to find them but these two are forum members. You basically can not find parts to build them as parts kits are not imported.

We have a few of the Saiga 12 CA Legal Shotguns in stock now and also will be offering the Turkish MKA 1919 Shotguns later this summer.

I can't wait till the MKA 1919 has some aftermarket high cap mags. I like the one Tony from Tromix built that had the aftermarket AR style stock.

Hey firearmspro, what are the things you have on the front of the trigger guards in those pics? Some sort of mag release extension?

The Beast.

Recently returned from CGW. There were many accessories awaiting it...

Mods:

Initial pistol grip conversion with welded on H&K sights, welded mag lock, pistol grip conversion and galil style handguard by Henderson Defense.

Fast forward 2 years and CGW did this;
Removed the welded on sights and maglock.
CGW last round bolt hold open (I'm pointing at it in the 4th picture)
CGW amidextrous charging handle
CGW warranty/reliability service
Installed a Chaos CQC

It comes back and I added;
Chaos Warthog
Chaos Porkypine
Chaos Titan rail w/hk sights
Magpul AFG
KAC VFG (sideways mounted)
Surefire scout light

Ohh, and I now officially claim my seat upon the Mall Ninja throne. Kneal before ZOD!

No you cannot have a pistol grip and a folding stock on a semi-auto shotgun. Check out the flow-chart http://www.calguns.net/caawid/sgflowchart.pdf

Looking good, now get some plugs for those holes! Also, if you find the SAW grip isn't to your liking I recommend the Ergo or Hogue Rubberized AK grip, I love mine.

Finally got off my *** and got around to getting some camera time with my Saiga like I said I was going to. After the photo's I decided that no matter how pretty I thought they were it just wasn't worth the wait. So I thought maybe a video of it would be best.

Just a simple conversion I did myself. Most parts from Carolina Shooter, and an Autoplug and simple brake from another site. Nice and reliable and fun.

I could not use the plugs, the stock inside the receiver covered half of the back holes on the inside, so I used JB Weld. Yea, I need to clean that up a bit as the JB sagged into the holes a little, but it's holding ok. Will add some more, sand it smooth and paint it later.

Life started off as a stock Saiga 12 . I moved the fcg forward thanks to Carolina shooters supply , added a jt magwell and magpul moe collapsible stock that has been pinned , installed a chaos extended rail with hk sights , houge grip overhauled the gas system with puck and plug ,
Polished the bcg and added tromix extended charge handle , then finally to get me on target I added a bushnell red dot and now I'm on black every time at 100 yards !!! This is by far my most favorite gun I own

I wanted it simple

Since it is a shotgun I wanted the sights to low as possible so I didn't change the gas tube for the upper handguard
