Default Ar-comp & lee auto disk.

Does anyone happen to have information on the powder weight's thrown on the lee autodisks.

We are trying to get to 24.0 grains.

Also, any good recipes for 50 and 52 grain bullets. For .223 in a 16in 1/9twist.
Primary use is plinking.

I am getting mixed reviews saying to use reloader 15 data minus 2.0 grains, others say to use varget data. Witch one shoul i go with?

I think you can look at their dipper set. Those have data for each weight per cc.

There is a very thorough PDF on the Lee website with the data you need.

Got some info...

1.6cc is 21.9gr of varget

1.6cc is 22.7gr for rl15

If you go 1.0cc(14.2gr) and .7cc(9.9gr) of rl15 youll get 24.1gr

Or

Varget with 1cc and .7cc to get 23.3gr....

Ive used those powder for precision shooting with 75gr+ but for pliking ive used accurate 2230. Good ball powder and eaiser to meter.

AR Comp is identical in appearance to Reloader 15 and meters the same. Moderate sized kernels but still smaller than Varget. My loads are for a 70 VLD is 23.5 gns with OAL of 2.255. I am getting around 2930 fps with an extreme spread of 26 fps. It's one whole grain less than RL15 and better consistency. I also use it for my 80.5 Fullbore loads for the 600 line. Nice powder and gives great results. It's formulated for the heavier bullets but you should have no problem starting there and working up or down.
