1911 and ar15 80% build question
Hey guys,
I read a lot about this but before I start, I just want to make sure I've got this right. So to keep CA compliant for the 1911 build, I need to bring it into this world as a single shot and then I can concert it to a conventional. Correct? I also read that it's a good idea to put a serial number on it so gun smith's will be willing to work on it. Good idea or no point? And lastly, With AR 80% builds, there is no SSE stuff needed cause they are rifles as long as you use a bullet button. Have I got all that right? I wasent trying to launch abother giant discussion on this cause I'm sure it's a tired subject. I just wanted to make sure I've got this right before I start spending money. Thanks! |

Sound right except under sse 2.0 it has to be a break ton or bolt. I've been in contact with this guy thinking of getting the 223. http://nramt.com/
The ar your gonna have to register at the end of the year. Or do the thing that we can't speak.... sent from deep within a tomato field |

1. Single shot, breaktop or bolt action, yes.
2. Markings, to have any legal weight, must also include name and address of manufacturer, not just a number. Check the regs for specs on required markings, depths, etc. 3. Markings a good idea? I'm thinking if you're making your own firearm, you prolly don't need a gunsmith. 4. SSE is a handgun only term, cuz roster, but there are AR pistols, of course. 5. BBs are going out of style, non-criminal wise, shortly, which is why all the panic and BB reloaded and other New Bizarre Compliance Stuff. 6. All the NBCS is irrelevant if you actually want to use your rifle/carbine, in which case you'd already have it in a featureless configuration. If you want a range toy that looks more functional than it is, then you'll need to re-rig from the old style BB. Quote:

How it loads from the top and "breaks" like those old dominators? Idk not sure, it's the only thing I've found besides the limited 10 22 bolt, but they said they're not making them anymore
