Replacement firearm DROS question
I recently had to have a new handgun replaced by the manufacturer due to a casting flaw. I know that with a replacement I am not subject to the 1 handgun in 30 day restriction when I DROS it but I was looking at my copy of the DROS I did yesterday and couldn't find a box that said my replacement was exempt from the 1 in 30 requirement. Should I see this information on my copy or is it hidden? If I should see it and don't, can the FFL do a correction or am I ... S.O.L. for 30 days? I note that the box titled "Transaction Type" is filled "Dealer Sale", is this correct for a replacement firearm?

If I recall correctly, the pawn/consignment button is supposed to be used (bad labelling). It should be exempt from the certified list and the 1 in 30, but if the FFL messed it up, they could cancel it and start over or you will have to wait.
I think it is marked on the DROS and not hidden. It has been a while since I submitted such a DROS.

There's an "Exemption Type" box under the date/time on the upper right of the DROS.
