Default S&W Model 52-2 classic Bullseye pistol

First mag fired out of the 1983 Smith Model 52-2 I picked up at Eddy's last weekend.

Two shots to get to know her, and then boom, boom, boom. It got better from there.

This is a .38, from an era when many used three guns in Bullseye competitions. Most use only a .22 and a .45 now.

The barrel is stamped "38 SPECIAL MID-RANGE", and she shoots only wadcutters, out of a 5-round magazine that will hold nothing else.

They literally broke the mold after this one was made. In 1993 the production machinery wore out, and was not replaced.

Her action is a bit temperamental (and aren't we all at a certain age?) but this is still a very nice gun to hold and to shoot.
