Actually they get them in about 50 amount per shipment. Then they have a guy testing each one with new batteries. So once they test them up, they count how many they got, and put them up

I called and talked to them as well. The guy I talked to said they are a small shop and as they go through the optics they put them up for sale. He also said that he like to limit it to 50 at a time so they don't fall to far behind in shipping and so people have more then one chance to get them.
He also said they should have more comp M2s ready to go next week as well as EO Techs later. Said he was hunting this weekend.

i like the way they do it. small batches at a time. everybody has a chance..not some reseller buying 100s at once.

If only they limit 2 per customer
At 1 pm I just went to the postal office for my daughter's US passport paperwork and at 4:40 pm got distracted by my work!

I really don't think 2 per person would help. They seem to sell so fast.

So are these good optics? I have two on the way and didn't do any research. Seems like the best thing I could ever get for $150 though

Haha this thread made me giggle. the first time I missed it, I signed for the email notifcation and the following day, they got a batch of aimpoints, got an email notification that were in stock, and there I go and got one.

I was even thinking about it for 5 mins at the most and decided to grab one before they went out of stock lol. Cant beat that price! Been wanting an optic for a while. Ain't paying $400 for a pro.

The pictures are of the Eotech (which seemed pretty flawless) and not of the aimpoint. I've owned a few Eotechs in the past from time to time you may face nitrogen leak and then your Eotech will need servicing If the Eotech is over 10 years they wont ever service it and will just sell you a discounted one (Yes Eotech wont service my 511 because its "too old") Just a word of caution to those who picked one up. I hope they are actually confirming they are working and not just powering it on. In the case of Nitrogen leakage, the reticle may seem bright indoors, but if you take it out in sunlight it washes out. Make sure everything is in working order in that 3 day time frame.

Thanks for the info. Is there anyway specific way eotech recommends how to do this "check"? Other than just looking at the reticle in sunlight? My optic should be here next week and I want to make sure mine isn't leaking.

That's because most people haven't received it yet. The OP posted this deal on 9/30 and its being shipped UPS Ground. Takes 5 business days so the first wave of people will receive their optics on Monday.
