LMT, LMT, LMT, BCM.

This wasn't purchased as a complete rifle. I've had the LMT lower for a while, but recently picked up the 14.5" LMT upper and A2X flash hider to finish off the vanilla rifle I've wanted since the day I got into this bottomless money pit of a hobby.

-LMT Defender lower with standard trigger and stock
-LMT 14.5" "M4" carbine upper
-BCM A2X extended flash hider to make it legal.

I had the JP VTAC handguard and loved it. Thing was tough as nails, versatile with adding rails here or there, and had it duracoated in "Titanium Gray" which looked really sweet with the upper assembly all duracoated.

I actually really liked my stark grip and would have gotten another if this lower I have didn't have an integrated trigger guard. great ergos, like the material, and quite the cool look.

I'm not a fan, but they are a great way to salvage a lower when the trigger guard wing gets snapped off...happens often enough.

xblax619, check out boonie packer slings too. You may be able to sell the sling you get for what the boonie costs you. They're about $22.00 for their most expensive 2 pt adjustable, AND cinchable sling. 2 separate adjustments. I LOVE their slings for the money. Its what Vickers copied his off of. (people will argue with me on that but its true) THey're built like a tank and are really simple to use.

Just a heads up. Model1Sales uppers have undersized posts for the takedown pins and have a lot of play/wobble that is considerably more than an accuwedge can fix on its own. Much more so than is considered normal for an AR.

Not to worry however, there is a fix that involves putting rubber O-Rings on either side of the receiver, between the upper and lower where the front pivit pin inserts. I don't remember the exact size of the O-Ring but it can be found at any hardware store and is dirt cheap. I am sure another member will remember where to find the online tutorial and post a link to it here. I tried searching for it, but my day job uses SonicWall to block out sites, which includes 90% of gun forums. Calguns is left alone for some reason.

I am not saying this to bash your rifle. I am saying it to let you know not to panic if your upper has the enourmous amount of play all the Model1Sales uppers that I have seen had. It is an easy and affordable fix.
