Default Costa PredatOBR

Any updates on getting these in? Just curious as people on the larue forum are already getting shipping label notices. Also, how long is the wait list?

Larue is taking orders directly from their site. They've only released 125 of 500 and I believe they're all sold out.

LaRue seems to have changed their position on this rifle and may not be offering dealer sales. This is very disappointing to say the least. In light of their policy where individuals from California can ONLY purchase a LaRue rifle through one of their authorized California dealers, this is especially disappointing. We are working with one of the directors of the company in an attempt to get them to address this side-effect of their decision to only sell the rifles online. We were the very first dealer to give LaRue a purchase order for these rifles at SHOT Show and every indication, up until a couple days ago, was that they were eventually going to fill our order. We are hoping that they will ship some of the next production run to us so that we can sell them to customers on our waiting list, but we just don't know at this point.

How about a regular (non-beardy) PredatOBR 14.5" with welded flash hider? Are you guys going to be able to get your hands on those? I see them up on the site, but I keep seeing a "Server Error" when I click on it (not sure if my problem or not).

All indications are that the PredatOBR will be just fine, it's just that they haven't even shipped any yet. The Costa rifle is the first PredatOBR to ship, but they are treating it differently since it is a special model. At least that is how I interpret the information I am receiving so far.

that sucks. thanks for the update. Might have to just swap my name over to the regular predatobr list. Wanted a fde rifle more than the name and CL logo.

You guys going to add Cerakote to your "gunsmithing" section? I know I'd be down for it on a normal PredatOBR...

We don't currently have any plans to add any find of refinishing services.

We still haven't received any information on if they are planning on offering these rifles through their dealers in future production runs. It's not looking good...

Hey brucoop,

No word on standard PredatOBRs yet, but there is a waiting list for both calibers.
If you would like to be added to the waiting list be sure to stop by or call (949) 209-6413 with your full name and phone number.
No deposits are required/accepted for waiting list items.

Thanks!

Started new PredatOBR thread. My question is not a COSTA issue.

I know this guy, he's a former DEA agent - Remember his famous quote:
