Manufacturer (your name) and city would be different even if serials were the same.

I wouldn’t worry about mismatched numbers. People replace slides or use different slides for a caliber conversion all the time

I requested that the numbers match the slide and barrel and was told I was good to go.

It wouldn't be a bad idea to match the serials and as someone else mentioned, the model and maker are different so no worries about duplicate serial numbers (since your build isn't technically a Glock).

Can all that info (name, city, s/n, caliber, etc.) be on the embedded metal plate? I wonder if anyone has a picture of the engraved text just to show the font size (blurred text is fine)?

Agree, the caliber should already be marked on the barrel and slide

Don't you need a single shot bolt action conversion kit to make this legal to buy?

Confused

These things are evil, the ebr disease of years past didn't hit me nearly as hard as these have. I was never a glock fanboy but the ugliness has grown on me, and the unobtanium 43 in prk just makes these so much more enticing.

I'm still thinking about it. Don't really need it, but need has nothing to do with it LOL

I'm laughing bc they (GS) stated all orders would be shipped/delivered today. And yet not a peep about anything. Reading on another forum someone mentioned that they are not going to be available til MAY (convo has now been deleted). So who knows....

My understanding was that the vendor possessed the kits already and was waiting till the official launch date to ship. But I was assuming that I guess.

Anyone care to confirm with F&F?

The vendor possesses the parts kits, but as mentioned in the first post and throughout, was waiting on shipping of the ss80 frame to start shipping. If polymer 80 delays the shipping of the ss80 frame, then it will delay shipping of the kits.

This was clearly stated in the first post.

I thought the SS80 frame is exclusive to GS?

If I had known we were going to have to wait that long I wouldn't have pulled the trigger and bought one yesterday. Now I'm rather annoyed.

Have you ever done a group buy before? You plan to wait to save money.
If you need it NOW, cancel your order and pay more.

If you’re unhappy with the timeline contact Chris and I am sure he will refund you. The first post was clear about the conditions of the group buy, I’m sorry that you got the wrong impression. SS80 delaying shipping the frames is out of F and F’s hands. And has any delay actually been confirmed, or is everyone assuming it has?

I completely understand that, and understand that things happen and delays should be expected. I think the poster above my comment was what sparked my remark.

Big difference with the G17 group buy. That was already a mature product and had been shipping from various vendors for months. This is not.

My understanding of this is that it is a GS product that was manufactured for them by P80 under contract. Lanny already missed his first deadline and he said it was because he didn't like some of the design and wanted it beefed up in several areas. I had preordered from GS but canceled after the first deadline was missed and this group buy came around. I did the math and this group buy is a money saver.

So does this mean the group buy end date is pushed back?
