I expect some really long wait times tommorow, but Turners still charges their $5 fee, so it's not much savings if there's a long wait.

a friend of mine is picking up his gun tomorrow. i think he has only paid the minimum on the day that he started the DROS. can he get his DROS fee back tomorrow when he pays it in full and pick up his gun?

They told me I couldn't get free DROS unless you start layaway on the same day. So if you have anything on layaway that you haven't started DROS yet then you don't get free. Only applies to new purchases on Sat.

i belive if hes already paid DROS, he's s.o.l. on this, however if someone was paying off a gun without DROSing it yet, pay it off in full & DROS it tomarrow, the DROS is comped.

Reads to me that it's only guns in stock or on layaway already....f they don't have any guns to sell ya, how do you purchase one today? The stores are pretty empty.

I would imagine if you ordered one, without a serial number as it states in the OP, that you don't get the fee reduction.

So it would be the price of gun, plus tax, plus a 5$ fee,?
Plus gun lock( if not provided by manufacture)?

$25 is $25 especially these days when prices are going up and up. A savings is a savings.

one of my buddies is going in later today to dros 12 long guns from turner's...

hopefully he'll make it out in one piece and doesn't catch a bug from other buyers... ;-)

basically he'll save $2.50 per gun if he does it today...

my buddy came out in one piece... we'll wait and see if he caught any bug...

his receipt showed they removed $25 DROS and Turner's $5 customary dealer handling fees. ;-)

it took over 2 hours to get all paperwork done...

if someone was DROSing a bunch of long guns on lay away, all they needed to do is purchase and pay for another long gun to get the promotion applied to all of them.

I tried that and then they tried to charge an extra DROS for the guns that were on layaway. Claimed that they were not bought that day. Gave it to me when I complained and pointed out the waste of another DROS for no reason.
