Default Shop for Out of State Transfer

Hi all

I was wondering where is a good place to do an out of state transfer that is in Ventura County. I am looking to purchase an O/U shotgun from Cabelas and need a local FFL to receive the shipment. I used Mariner's Gun Supply in the past but he has since moved out of state. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

VC defense in Thousand Oaks is a good shop. Since starting my new job 3 weeks ago I’ve visited them 4-5 times. Believe their out of state was $60-65 when I asked

Just thought I would share what I came up with after calling a few shops in our local area:

Camarillo Gun Store $100
Shooter's Paradise/B&G Guns $100
Knights Tactical $75
Real Seal Arms $50

Gillio Firearms $40 according to a 2 year old post under their vendor thread here on CalGuns (couldn't get anyone on the phone)

And here's an interesting one, IslandView Ent. said they would charge $150 but there's no sales tax. This one stands out because I thought they always charge you sales tax but they told me on the phone that because it is an out of state transfer, I don't have to pay it. I'm guessing it's because that $150 would cover their fee and the tax under most circumstances but I am importing a Browning Citori CXS that I paid $1700* for so the cheapest other option I would have would be $171 ($1700*0.0775+$40) at Gillio. I'll be going by their store tomorrow to confirm this information is correct and I let everyone know at some point.

*When you factor in the Cabelas SVM giftcards I used and the Browning rebate, I actually got the shotgun for $1260 so it looks like I'll be around $1450 once all is said and done.
