Default I guess I am a gun guy...

Today when I got to work, I hit the '5' button in the elevator (I work on the 5th floor). Two more folks got on with me. One lady hit the '7' button; another guy hit the '3' button.

When I looked at the elevator panel, the '3', '5' and '7' buttons were illuminated and the first thing that came to mind is the 357 revolver I plan to buy in the near future.

This would never have happened 1.5 years ago. Thanks guys! [and btw i'm planning to get a S&W 686 in case you were wondering]

It's the Universe speaking to you. That's the only explanation.

That is clearly a message from the Fates telling you to get that 686.
My advice is to do exactly as they say.
They are watching you and are not to be trifled with.

Yep. Three digit combinations of numbers will keep jumping out like that, the more you dive in.

Welcome to the tribe!

Ahh, day dreaming. You think you are a gun guy?

That lady who walked in after you was looking at the same numbers and was thinking a .375 H&H.

When I got to select a new cell phone number the obvious choice was the one with 357 for a prefix.

OP here.... And to think 2 years ago I wondered why anybody would want or need more than 1 gun... (try not to laugh at me!)

Tomorrow I'm taking my 10 year old daughter to the Cow Palace gun show. I know all the complaints about bay area gun shows but after I took her to the range a few weeks ago, she loved shooting my Browning Buckmark and is quickly turning into a gun girl...

Ha ha were I live there are no buildings with more then two stories let alone elevators. But if I saw an address with 357 in it, magnum would automatically come to mind.

Maybe the elevator was talking about your weight and trying to tell you to diet.

So, what if you had hit the 9 button and someone had hit the 6 button already? LOL

Next, you'll start referring to 1/2" as 50 cal...

(OK, I know it's not exactly .5")

Your not a gun guy until you realize you will never stop buying more guns.

Once you buy the 357, then you’re a gun guy

Funny you should say that. My first safe was just for handguns. It's getting... full. And now I find myself thinking about getting my first rifle.

I better give Sturdy Safe a call...

Guns are like Lays. You can't just have one
Welocme to the club. 686 is a really nice choice. Worth every penny.
Then you'll want the 629 big brother too.
Then... The Dillon press because reloading for wheelguns saves $$. Plus you can make fireball loads to mouse fart loads with all in between.
Its bad when u use the numbers for combination locks. Not that I would do that...

You should get TWO .357’s - just in case the universe isn’t satisfied with one.

Ahhh it’s a sign as others said! Plus Rugeris coming out with the LCRx .356 with 3” barrel.

A few more prime numbers - .375, .405, .416, and .458. And don’t forget .338 and .358.
