Default Lets see some Handgun caliber Carbine/Rifles and Lever Action Rifles

Stan "BigBamBoo" did an outstanding job with his side charging 9mm rifle. His rifle looks and functions great.

I bet there are other calguns member that has rifles that shoots pistol cartridges besides Stan and I. So please take pictures and tell us about it

My long term buddy purchased a HK USC45 awhile back. Ever since then, that .45acp rifle got me thinking something similar. About a month ago, I check out riflegears website and can't stop noticing a CMMG dedicated 9mm AR. So three weeks ago, my girl and I drove there. And I ended up DROSing that stripped lower. I took a couple of days researching parts. There seems to be four different 9mm twist configurations:
CMMG and RRA 1:10"
YHM 1:14"
Model 1 Sales 1:15"
and Olympic Arms 1:16"
I ended up purchasing a Model 1 upper for it's twist rate.

CMMG 9mm lower,
Model 1 Sales 9mm upper with BCG "non ramped" and parts kit.
"note" Model 1 sales parts kit doesn't use mil-spec parts!
DPMS stock,
RRA hammer and buffer,
Troy MRF-C, and a Vortex red dot with ADM.

Excuse my noobiness, but why would someone want an AR in 9mm?

Here's a lefty AR in 7.62x25 Tok. Still working on a few issues. Cheap shooting 7 cents a round. PPS43 magazines.

I want your rifle! That thing looks really sweeet. That light 7.62x25 round packs a wallop.

I wanted it for a companion to my CZ52. Still have a few magazine issues. Making a PPS43 mag work/fit in a AR but hope to have that resolved Early next month. especially the ten rounders.

Cheap and easy to find 9mm....Part of the reason it's so much fun at the range.

that C9 (pistol)is now pink and belongs to my wife, but the 995 now has new optics and is 800 rounds old and going strong. it's funny i bought the c9 cause it used the same mags as the 995.

Here's mine in its original configuration on my reg'd lower. I've since purchased a CMMG dedicated 9mm lower and am working out problems with the magazines. The UZI mags I was using in this configuration were flawless.

NICE! Looks like they put some nice upgrades in the new version. Mostly for lefty's it would seem, but still good upgrades!

Photos are updated on top.

I took my new 9mm AR to Angeles over the weekends. And we were hitting 200 yards irons. WTF?, I never thought that it was possible with a 9mm and also there wasn't much of a bullet drop from 50-100-200yards.

At $10.00 a box of 50 - 9mm verse $6.00 a box of 20 - 5.56, I rather shoot the 9mm all day long. Also the best part is being able to shoot in most indoor ranges, which means going shooting after work and no windage in the way

Get a decent 9mm in a rifle or carbine sized barrel and you can achieve some pretty impressive speeds. I tend to reload 105gr for my old Camp-9, and it's pretty impressive out to 150ish. Beyond that the sights aren't really up to the task (or my eyes aren't).

Old Marlin is still one of my all time favorite plinkers.

I currently got my eyes on a Winchester 94 .44 magnum, but might have to tune down to a Marlin if funds don't permits.

I didn't even think about my lever actions?
Here's the wife's .357 Rossi (Rosebud).

Here's my .45lc Rossi.

And this one isn't a center fire, but it's the kids lever action Henry.

Looks like the cmmg dedicated lower is the way to go. Anyone have luck w/ a magwell adapted setup? I've got a lower not being used for anything and I see a dedicated is over $200 not counting tax/fees so trying to avoid paying again.

What magazines do you use in yours and besides an upper what parts did you need to complete it? I've got a lower with AR lpk installed and stock. I'm seriously looking at an RRA upper and seeing how much to put that together.

EDIT: NM your sig had link to your build.

Only pic I have:

Ive had decent luck with the Cprod plastic adapter, but really like my Hahn and RRA magwell adapters. I moved the Cprod adapter to my 9mm AR pistol build for weight savings.

Actually, you can't do that.

They need to be recycled, I have a secure recycling bin that is appropriate for your situation.

I finally took the BB converted Vector Uzi to the range today. Updated the fixed folder to a non-detachable wood stock.

I use the C Products mags. They cost about 1/3 of what the uzi mags cost, and they lock the bolt back on the last round.

Default Kriss with ultimate mag tool

No, I cannot make lighting-fast reload with it. But it sure beats fumbling for tools. (if a 45ACP can activate a mag detach.. so will my finger )
Sure do hope that can make the tool longer since the tool need a longer reach then typical AR. It also fits nicely in the original grip cut out, but cannot fit a Glock 21 anymore.

^ duc that is badass.

I am not even done with my .308 build yet and already want a 9mm build seeing as how I have thousands of rounds of 9mm....

Anyone use a lone wolf lower, featureless of course?
