Default Electrolysis

Does anyone have an electrolysis set-up they are willing to share? I've got a rusty gun id like to fix up and I figure checking with the calgun community would be a good way to start

I used a setup similar to this one when I was removing some rush for some suspension parts.

Ajax22 is a member and he has detailed how to built an electrolysis set up... and a series of videos restoring hunks of rust back into working firearms.

I believe the set up is a battery charger ($30-$50) some scrap rebar and a few 5 gallon buckets or tubs...

I would PM AJAX22 to get better details on his set up...

His videos also show the evolution as to how he restored different guns, bores and different set ups for the process..

Here is one of his Videos on U tube

From one of the video descriptions:

I used 5 teaspoons of Arm and Hammer washing soda to create the electrolyte, and one of the autozone 2/10/50 amp battery chargers (in hind sight I should have just gotten the 2/10A, the 50A setting just burns out the charger)
