A copy of any one of those is enough to satisfy AZ's training requirements. So, if you had sent one of those in, you would not have needed an instructor's NRA number.

Dps does accept this one for sure (just got my ccw using that credential). Current wait time about 6 weeks.

Also if you're anywhere near a live-scan fingerprinting place, dps accepts their "standard" fingerprint card & you're less likely to get rejected for "smudged" prints..
Is this still valid? I'm looking to help my girlfriend get her AZ CCW so she can carry in Nevada. Will this online class satisfy the training requirement?

Arizona does NOT accept online training certificates.

The class in that link is no longer an online class... You download the materials and complete the test, but then have to drive to Buckeye AZ to meet with the instructor to complete the class.
The post you quoted is 3 years old and the poster hasn't been on the forum in over 2 years.

There are dozens of affordable options locally. NRA Basic Handgun is about $100 ($65 if you are a CRPA member and take the class in Fullerton) and is probably the easiest way to go.
That basic class will qualify you for AZ, Florida, and a number of other states.

With that you simply have to do the follow up 4-hour class with an instructor

Took Phoenix Tactical Solutions Handgun1 earlier this month, according to my reading skills am I correct in assuming this class (please click image to see syllabus) will fulfill AZ requirements for training provided I get a certificate of completion with NRA instructors number?

I just sent in my CCW renewal form for AZ.

As promised, they sent out a renewal form 90 days before expiration, as well as an envelope to return it in.

I wonder if any CA counties do this...

I received my packet 5 days after e-mailing. Need to do some type of acceptable training, however.

I looked but didn't see anything in regards to whether the AZ non res is good in NV. The usacarry.com site shows it as valid but reading this thread says no go, unless I missed where it was changed.

Going to do OR as well since I visit family there. The AZ will cover my other out of state travels.

Yes, AZ covers NV, there was a time they didn't but that's changed and it's covered now

It's good to go in NV.

When I applied, I needed Florida for Florida since the kids live there, but I was also happy that FL covered NV.

Between the time that I applied and was issued, NV started accepting AZ.

But it does drive home the point to ALWAYS check before leaving CA. Reciprosity agreements can change with little to no notice. Also a good idea to have multiple permits that overlap in the event something changes.

NV has alternately accepted and not accepted more than one state more than once. California standards meet the NV requirements, but CA lacks a way for an NV cop to verify the validity of the permit via an automated system, so no-go for CA.

As far as I know there aren't any CA IA'S that mail out 90 day renewal notices with return envelopes.
Do you have a CA CCW?

Yes, it did change! As of July 11, 2017... Nevada now recognizes Arizona!

Many are not aware of this change.

If I'm not mistaken it was actually back in June of 2015 that NV began recognizing AZ permits.

Ya I can't remember the exact date, but June 2015 sounds right. I remember because I got my UT permit like 1 week before it happened, and then I 'ed myself that I didn't get the AZ permit instead (which I did a few weeks later)
