It was a real nightmare for me. I'm looking forward to seeing if somebody devised a good way to do it.

Use a dental pick to remove the e-clip on the side and push the pin thru.

It will fall apart

My only piece of advice is to remove all evil features prior to removing the Raddlock. Can't be too safe!

I think you use a slave pin to install the old spring and catch. That is a pin just long enough to hold the spring in the catch, and still be able to install the catch in the guard- then push the slave pin out with the real catch pin. I will be doing the same thing soon. Even bought a new pin to peen from power custom. Never got jiggy with the raddlock. Sure do like duraglocks BB!

Yeller is correct use a slave pin to hold the spring in place for the reinstall of the latch. If not the latch is a pain to put back in as the spring does not stay in place and pops out. With the slave pin it takes seconds instead of minutes to change to the regular latch. If you order a bullet button from me I can include a free pin to make the change a snap. Just let me know . If not I have them listed for sale at solartactical.com with pictures of the pin.

I think the part he really needs to know is how to assemble the original. Yes a slave such as a drill bit shank or drift of the proper size is almost essential but my difficulty was keeping the spring compressed while getting the original pin back in.
