Default What's the difference in scope bases?

I am looking for a base for my Remington 700P. I noticed some were +15 MOA, +20 MOA, and just regular. What is the difference?

I did a search and didn't find anything that answered my question.

Thanks for the links guys!

So basically the cant gives you more MOA. So if I need 40 MOA to hit something and I have a 20 MOA base I would just need to turn the dials 20 MOA.

Correct.

And since you need to dial in a bit of elevation just to get zeroed, mounting a scope on a canted base "aims" the internals of the scope closer through the scope's optical center. This is a good thing. If I was you I'd get a 20 MOA base, regardless of the distances you plan to shoot.
