FYI: Milo Fitch just got the Sac Bee endorsement: http://www.sacbee.com/opinion/editor...210913309.html

He seems to be putting together some real support. This could be a very competitive race.

I had my interview in mid-February and have still not gotten my approval to go to Livescan.

Anybody know if there is any benefit to just going down there for a status update? They don't have the voicemail option in the system any more.

Make sure all of you license holders /family and friends vote for Sheriff Jones.

This little gem from that claptrap Sac Bee.

Another priority would be community-oriented policing, particularly in the poor, minority neighborhoods that deputies patrol. Issuing concealed carry permits, which Jones hands out like M&Ms, would not be.

How are those m&m's?

No comments yet. I dont do facebook, so no comment from me.

Hes being backed by local dems including Mayor (I tried to ban all semi autos when I was in the Legislature) Steinberg.

The Bee is also backing Philips against the DA.

Quote:
Most of Phillips' contributions have come from the California Justice & Public Safety PAC, which is funded by billionaire George Soros. That organization has given more than $375,000 worth of in-kind contributions to Phillips' campaign.

So, vote Jones for Sheriff and Schubert for DA.

i would have to say anyone but Scott Jones and have encouraged all my friends to vote against him after his conduct and the lawsuits he has lost. As far as i am concerned he is a disgrace to the badge. As for the D position we have two of the worst candidates in the state facing off against each other. we need a good write in candidate but that is not going to happen. Phillips is a total sell out in my personal opinion and schubert is just another cronny of Scott covering up his crimes in office.

Of course those are my personal opinions but in my area I do influence votes and these two are not getting mine. I can't bring myself to vote for Phillips either.

So big red is im favor of violating our civil right of self defense of our and our families lives.

The other leading turd flat out said no ccw 's to us lowly citizens.

Ultimately it is up to us to protect ourselves at the most basic level.

Im voting on the most basic level of one issue. The ability to legally protect my kid and wife if necessary.

I donated to Sheriff Scott Jones and will continue to vote and support his run.

Sheriff Jones also is not in favor of prop 47 BS.

Update on my "weapons modification". It was just approved, issued and picked up today. While they are being accepted, my wait time was 6 months.

I got about the same timing for a permit mod to add a gun.
Wonder if they just decided to go thru the pile of mods that week.
