Default What would you buy?

First of all, let’s put roster aside. Budget is up to $1800, must be metal framed 9mm.
So far choses are
1. CZ TS Orange (if I can find one).
2. CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow Orange Cгustom Shop (available)
3. Tanfoglio Witness Stock 1
4. Tanfoglio Witness Stock 2
5. Tanfoglio Witness Stock 2 Extreme.
6. Sig P226 Legion DA/SA
7. Sig P226 Legion SAO
8. Sig P210 Target

Anyhting else did I miss?
Cheaper gun will leave more money for ammo.
No, I can’t found all of them, just one.
For plinking and petting. LOL

Pick up a used Gen 3 Smith model 910s for about $500. and spend the $1300 left over at the range training.

For plinking and petting, I would go with p210 or CZ TS Orange out of your options listed.

How about a CZ TS, 2K rds of ammo, and couple hundred left over
to spend on extra mags, CZ custom grips, metal guide rod...

Used Glock 17 and then $1,300 left over for ammo. There is nothing on that list that does the job as well as Glock..

Personally ,for target shooting , I prefer single stack pistols . I would either get a P210 TARGET or buy a SA 9mm 1911 and send it out for KART or KKM barrel and a trigger job

I have two Dan Wessons-PM7 and CCBob. I do not want to send them for trigger job, they are good to go. I have SA 9mm 1911 Loaded Target-out of the box trigger happened to be perfect. Most people to whom I let try and compare my SA to TS, like SA more. My TS has 2# (I measured with calibrated gauge), SA has 3#, very crisp.
I want to get one more new gun. I have chance to get pretty much anything I want to, regardless of roster.
I am leaning toward Tanfoglio Stock 2 or 3 and P938. They are really close to my budget.

Do you own a Beretta? If not you should put a Wilson Combat Beretta near the top of your list.

Ok. For TARGET shooting with 9mm, current P210 wils be good. For action shooting CZ TS ORANGE.

Sig X5e Entry-- SAO beautiful 9mm. Snuck one in from Osage County Guns about a month before SSE ended. Although think they'd sell for a serious premium now over your $1800 limit since off roster and, well it's a X5.

Still sitting BNIB in my safe -- someday I will shoot it but I enjoy my Beretta 92's and other 9mm's in the meantime.

That Sig X5 is the nicest gun I own, and I'm sure it shoots like a dream.

Thanks guys for your input.
Now I think I settled to P210. Will start working on it. I think by end of January I should have one on hands. I am not exempt, interstate intrafamily option.

Good choice . I would try some 115 Atlanta Arms JHP ammo. You will be very happy with the accuracy . It doesn't particularly like my 147jhp duty ammo.

I would definitely add a Dan Wesson to the list. But that's a tough list to choose from. However, if I was going to go with a Sig I would definitely go with the Legion SAO.

To that end, the first thing I would do with your list is narrow it down to one gun by each MFG.
