Default Shotgun class for home defense.

I bought a Mossberg 590A1 around the start of this year. I got the Magpul stock and forend so that I could handle it better along with a shell carrier. I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a shotgun class for home defense?

Scott is amazing at the advanced stuff

I highly recommend heading to Nevada and front sight.

Easy enough drive from so cal

You will find members here selling class certificates for $50 or
Life memberships for $100

Can you tell us more about your firearms experience?
Any formal training with pistols or rifles?

I second FrontSight. Starts off getting everyone on same page (basics) then works introduces more concepts. Overall good place and if you get a few buddies to go then it’s a guys trip to enjoy.

I can’t comment on local classes as I have not attended any.

I do recommend going to IDPA matches. They are good scenario shoots, just go slow to be proficient with unholstering and hitting targets. Speed will come with practice and repetition.

PM me if you want certs or membership for FS.

No, they do not. The point of mentioning IDPA is for firearm (pistol) handling and scenario shoots.
Sorry for any confusion

I probably should have added that I have no formal firearms training. My only experience has been my off and on range trips which probably don't mean much.
