If I buy a rifle from a non ffl individual can they send it to my dealer or do they have a dealer send it.
Thanks.

Not a legal problem - depends on the business practice of the receiving dealer. Be sure to ask the CA FFL what they want.

I've been saying that for years ...

There is no value at all complaining or analyzing or reading tea leaves to decide what these bills really mean or actually do; any bill with a chance to pass will be bad for gun owners.

The details only count after the Governor signs the bills.

The guy I bought a rifle from is telling me because I live in Ca he has to send it through a dealer. That's after asking me if my dealer will accept a firearm from an unlicensed individual. I smell something fishy.

Thanks for the reply.

Federal law requires the gun go through an FFL on the receiving end, but no law requires it ship from an FFL.

Doesn't get more clear than that. Thanks again.
