Default Glock Clip Draw?

Anyone carry a Glock using a Clip Draw? I have one of those block things that snap on the trigger guard and I think I'll be set for holsterless carry if the Clip Draw is legit.

Have a buddy who Carrie's 24x7. Loves his.

I want the trigger covered, so not an option for me.

No. Do not do it. This is 2018 and we are 30 years into liberalized concealed carry. People should know from at least the last decade that triggers need to be covered.

I have one of these.

And my 29 is a backpacking gun carried in condition 3.

I guess it's a cheap enough investment to try.

It's not your financial investment we're worried about; we just don't want a fellow calgunner to blow off his junk. Those clip-on trigger guards come off way too easy. Save your money for a proper IWB kydex holster and be safe.

Safest when carried without a round chambered.
This is a niche option to carry depending on body type and how you dress/work.
It has it's place for the right person and type of handgun. It's very well made.

I also have a friend that carries his 9mm Shield and has to move it around his waist or coat pocket as needed depending on what he's working on. Stays put and can easily change position before driving or whatever.
I've tried his on and I am considering getting one. I'm a big boy now and can make my own safety call on how I decide to carry.

Vanguard is a must. Cover the trigger 100%

Then the clip might be OK

The clip is one of those Tacticool failures. It's dangerous for a number of reasons most of them mentioned. Add the trigger guard and now you have to tie it down to work not to long, not to short so it will work in a fight and not tangle well your in the head.

Most importantly it's a really lousy way to conceal depending on body type, you can't adjust the cant. remember your not concealing the gun your concealing the grip of the gun and the clip draw makes that harder unless your carrying appending. The lack of adjustability further makes it cute idea that really doesn't perform. The manufacture says carry without a round in the chamber, you add the trigger cover and of course the string around your belt looks so much less obvious than a clip alone.
